On June 3, a representative of LOEN Entertainment shared, “We have reached an agreement to renew a contract with IU before the termination in September this year.” IU had stayed with the agency for the past 7 years.

The solo artist and the agency are sinabi to have discussed the renewal since April. As a result, they decided to maintain the relationship for another 3 years, and the loyal singer and actress chose not to receive any additional deposit regarding the new contract.

IU who debuted in 2008, is the first singer from LOEN Entertainment.
