It has been reported that IU will not be attending the '2015 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards)' due to the alleged tantrum she threw at the '2014 MAMA.' Afterwards, IU supposedly boycotted all music award shows, such as the '2015 Melon Music Awards' and the 'Golden Disk.'

However, IU's side quickly stepped pasulong to refute these reports, claiming the actual reason the singer will not be attending the '2015 MAMA.'

IU's agency Loen Entertainment to Asia Today on November 19, "The boycotting of the awards shows is not true. We never got the requests in relation to attendance from the hosts.
