(Last time we left off we were at Bella's house with Bella and Jacob talking)
"What do you mean us?" I asked.
"I mean I want to talk about how that bl-- I mean how HE made us not have a normal relationship," he explained.
"Well it's not about what we should be, Jacob. I pag-ibig him and you can't do anything about it," I stated, firmly.
"That's because he never gave us a chance to be together," he sinabi sadly.
"Well I'm sure we can still be friends," I stuttered.
"I don't think I can handle that Bella because, I can't belive I'm saying this but...," he trailed off.
"But what?" I demanded.
"I pag-ibig you, Bella Swan," he said.
That's where he crossed the line.I couldn't belive my best friend, the one who I always counted on, loved me. I wasn't sure how I felt about him now since he sinabi that to me.
"Well do you mean as friends?" I asked nervously.
"No Bella I mean as in I want you to be mine and not his," he hesitated.
"Well I don't think that's possible anymore Jake," I reminded him.
"I know it's just that I'm not as perfect as him but maybe I can be," he said, stteping closer to me.
"I hope you can but you know you will always be my friend," I hoped starting to back up.
"Yes but I think this will change your mind," he stated.
He had me cornered.I couldn't stop what he was doing.I still hadn't been able to talk him out of it and now I was too late.As he leaned in closer, I was still absolutely undecided.
