I have been a tagahanga of James Spader for many years. He have a way of expressing himself that uniquely his own style. You are a very good actor when you can take a character on a tv show, or in a movie and make that character seem 'real" to your viewing audience. That's how I feel about the character he created with Raymond Reddington.
