She was scrubbing the floor of the bathroom when the doorbell rang. I didn't see her having any visitors, how could I have missed this. I closed my eyes and tried to see if I could figure out who it was. There was a possibility that it could be Jacob, but why wouldn't I be able to see him? Bella was watching my face very closely, I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders.

I went back to the couch, hearing Bella follow behind me. I reached my hand out to her and pulled her close to me.

"You look tired." I sinabi as I examined her face.

"Yeah, near-death experiences do that to me...So, what does Carlisle think of you being here?" She asked, probing for information.

"He doesn't know. He and Esme were on a hunting trip when I left. I'll hear from him in a few days when he gets back." I said.

Bella took a deep breath and looked down at her hands as she nodded.

I couldn't remember the last time I ate, and with Bella sitting on my lap, her blood so close I found myself starting to be distracted. I felt myself stiffen, the smell making my mouth flood.

I know this was probably pointless, but I grabbed my phone out of my pocked and dialed his number. It rang 7 times before the voice mail beeped.

"Edward it's Alice, call me please." I said.

"He's not answering any of us. We've all tried." Carlisle said.

We all sat around trying to figure out what our family would do now. Carlisle was saying that he would like to study again and Jasper agreed. Esme sinabi that a new house might be the thing to keep herself busy. Emmett and Rosalie wanted to stay here for a while, a get away for them I guess.

I turned around and slammed the door in his face, the look in his eyes was puso breaking. I just hurt my brother when he was already hurting. I turned so that my back was against the door, my body shaking.
