This follows the kamakailan announcement that the Complete Series 1 box-set won't be released until the first quarter of 2012;
2.The limited first pressing for the ninth and final Blu-ray Disc volume of the K-ON!! telebisyon anime series ranked #1 on Oricon's sales chart for a segundo consecutive week. It did so sa pamamagitan ng selling an additional 10,000 copies (rounded to the nearest thousand) during the March 21-27 week.
The ninth volume is also the third one in a row and the 10th one in the franchise to rank #1. The K-ON! franchise now holds the sole record for the most #1 Blu-ray Discs of any anime, after sharing it last buwan with Macross Frontier (nine #1s).
The all four of the original manga volumes sa pamamagitan ng kakifly have a combined total of 2.5 million copies in print. The manga will relaunch in two versions — college and high school — in April. The theatrical film adaptation will open in Hapon in December.
