Ok I have seen this serval times and I would like to tell you what its about. The story is about a 19th century bachelor who arrives in NY after he followed Stuart(Liv Schriber) who is a scientist through the portal that is connected to Brooklyn Bridge. As Leopold(Hugh Jackman) is in NY he meets and later falls for Kate(Meg Ryan) a executive who isn't too keen in romance after she and Stuart broke up. So as Leopold and Kate fall for each other Leopold has to wonder would he find pag-ibig in NY or his old world?.

Factual error: It's not just the petsa of La Boheme they have wrong. Pirates of Penzance didn't premiere until 1880 and it was the apprentice who found pag-ibig with the Major General's daughter and not, as stated, the Pirate King.
