Ichijinsha's Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine has revealed that an anime adaptation of seresa Arai's comedy manga Mikakunin de Shinkokei has been green-lit.
Mikakunin de Shinkokei follows the trials and tribulations of a high school girl named Kobeni Yonomori. On her 16th birthday a young man "with little presence" named Hakuya Mitsumine suddenly shows up on her doorstep proclaiming to be her fiancé. With him is his younger sister Mashiro. Joined sa pamamagitan ng Konbeni's older sister Benio, the unlikely group begin a new life under the same roof.
The manga has been running in Manga 4-Koma Palette, but only three volumes have been released so far. This shortage of material has led many fans to speculate that the form of this adaptation will be 3-5 minuto shorts à la Teekyu and Aiura.

Barakamon Will Receive Anime Adaptation

Satsuki Yoshino's popular slice-of-life manga Barakamon will receive an anime adaptation. Square Enix's Gangan Online revealed the upcoming adaptation on Thursday.
Yoshino's manga follows 23-year-old calligrapher Seishu Handa who suddenly finds himself forced to relocate to the remote Goto Islands. The cultural difference is quite shocking for the handsome young man who has lived most of his life in large cities. This world where people drive tractors down roads, enter through side/back doors rather than the front door, and run around barefoot is entirely foreign to him. Before he realizes it his tahanan becomes the de factor clubhouse for several of the island's mischievous children.
Collectively, Barakamon has sold madami than 1.8 million copies. Square Enix will ship the eighth volume on September 21st. Launched in 2009, Yoshino's manga has been well received sa pamamagitan ng comedy and slice-of-life fans alike. In November Yoshino will launch a prequel spin-off manga in Square Enix's Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine that focuses on Handa during his high school years.
