Lunatic First let me state that I'm not arguing with you. Now on to my opinion, personally, I completely understand why Kaname acts the way he does. 1. He is jealous of Zero, who was able to spend all that time with Yuki and there are ways Zero can protect Yuki that Kaname can't. 2. He is a pureblood. Now, that doesn't mean he should be allowed to treat others like crap, but I'm certain he is used to a certain level of respect from others. Zero has never shown *any* respect to Kaname. (Hell, the first time they met, Zero stabbed him with a butter knife.) 3. Kaname is probably afraid for Yuki's safetly, concerning the whole E-level thing. An E-level vampire is one who has lost all sense of humanity. Kaname, as skilled as he was at orchestrating the entire first arc of Vampire Knight, probably feared that Zero would turn earlier than he guessed and would end up hurting, or worse, killing, Yuki. As much as it wouldn't be Zero's fault for becoming a level E (after all, he has already shown amazing resistance to the yearning for blood), it would be his fault if he hurt anyone. You can't deny that. I had another reason, but I can't remember it. D: Oh well. ^_^

Lunatic Of course, it doesn't give him the right to treat Zero like shit, but honestly, Zero did start their fight. I'm not suggesting their relationship would be any better had Zero not stabbed him... but that was the "événement déclencheur" (in English, I think it is called the trigger factor). :) Plus, from Kaname's point of view, Zero's basically trying to steal his girlfriend. (And it *sort of* worked.)

PucksLady i agree as well. zero needs to learn some respect. i like zero, but really? i mean, even if i didn't like Kaname (which i do but if i didn't) i wuld still be respectful, becuz after all, he is a pureblood, and he's a good person at heart. i wuld not be like zero, and zero needs to control himself.

WinterNight I hope you guys stop starting fights i guess because in the end they became Allies. Plus Kaname sacrificed his life to give the humans stronger weapons to stop the human's extinction. And maybe you didnt know that Kaname is The 'Reason' that Zero survived when he was about to become a level E. I dont hate Zero im just a fan of both characters so everyone needs respect so thats why I cannot let this topic stand because its kinda full of threats.

sir_lancelot i don't know when you get this half thing i believed it is clearly stated that when kaname asked yuki so you left some parts of your heart with zero? and can you please answer me? if half of yuki's heart really belong to zero why does zero has to beg saying, be together with me before he become's dust if it's really 50/50 why does yuki holding herself back on being together with zero. don't give me the fact that because she's blaming herself for kaname's death that won't explain a thing is half a century not enough? kaname even give his blessing for the two to be together. yet she's still hesitating. she starts to consider it. when she remembered kaname's dying wish. let's fact's be fact's it's impossible to love to two person at the same way. that why it's love triangle guys. there would be always some one have the the bigger piece of the cake this time it's just so happened to be kaname. but as harsh as it may sound zero was happy having the shorter end of the stick.
