Reasons I chose these pairs

Brooke & Barney
They're both pretty childish in their group of friends and most of the times get their ways :p They're also really slutty at times and act like maneater/womanizer bc they were both very hurt by their first love. Lovable alpha bitch & Jerk with a heart of gold that have an amazing growth arc through the show and become a great parent. Most of the times they're the person the gang makes fun of as well.

Carrie & Chandler
Only children with divorced parents that were both iconic 90's characters, are great friends and use their humor as defense when they feel awkward. They both can be very dramatic about life and love (however, Chandler's comes out more funny while Carrie's more serious/questioning bc of the show's different theme). Chandler also was a writer in the AU episode and wrote for a paper like Carrie does!

Phoebe & Nick
They're both hilarious stupid/goofy at times and they start the show having no plan for their future and not taking life seriously but they both mature towards the show, that doesn't mean that they don't remain goofy and get the gang in trouble until the end. They're both extremely loyal friends though!

Santana & Mark
They both start as the antagonist of the show but when they're given more screen-time they have more depth than the viewers imagined. They still remain bitch/jerk to other people through the course of the show though, except for their significant other (Britt & Lex) which they are extremely over-protective of. They both slept with a main character and ruined their relationship at the start, they actually have slept with their whole school/hospital. They also had an epic fight with their best friend (Quinn and Derek) in front of the whole school/hospital.

Rachel & Kurt
They're both obsessed with fashion and tv shows, extremely into love and are an amazing partner and friend. They're part of the main friendships in their shows where usually the other person (Monica & R.Berry) boss them around sometimes (in a funny aspect). They also cry very easily and are both forced to grow up and strengthen really fast through the show.

Monica & Sheldon
The annoying one in the group that has made all the rules that nobody respects so they nag. But the gang couldn't stand without them, they were both extremely good students/nerds and are very bossy in their job in which they have to be the best. They're also very tidy something that the other members of the gang make fun of constantly.

Blair & Tony
Okay this one was the hardest but they were the last two standing. All I can see in common is that they're both very sarcastic/ironic all the time as well as stubborn which creates problems with their friends and love interests.

Caroline & Seth
Adorkable little snowflakes that make the show and every relationship in the show better. They're highly opinionated and talk too much sometimes, put love above anything else and love their parents (well, Care doesn't exactly loves her dad but she tried her best and he was a fucker).

Izzie & Ross
They're both smart and become excellent teachers at their field. They also hold on to religion pretty hard and are very caring friends and partners. They both get fired from their jobs and it almost kills them because they're very passionate about their profession. However, they put love above all.

Hanna & Joey
They're both adorable, first of all. They love(d) food and sex and they tend to say dumb things when it's not the best time to say them. They also tend to get the squad in trouble but they always save the day and make things better. They're extremely loyal friends and both try to make it to the 'big' world (fashion+cinema). Their best friend (Spencer+Chandler) make fun of everything they say/do every second. :p
