Overall I prefer Nathan, but I usually change my answer to this question depending on what was the last episode/season I watched.
The first 2 seasons I thought Nathan was okay, but I LOVED Lucas. Then as the seasons went on I thought Nathan's character kept getting better, while Lucas's character kept getting more boring.

I still like Lucas but when I watch seasons 5 and 6 it really turns me off from Lucas's character. I went from loving Lucas & thinking he was such a wonderful character to finding him to be dragging down the show in season 6.

i never like nathan at all in season 1-9 i just hate him, but i love lucas
