To me it seemed a bit empty (this could be because it was both his return to the show and his first centric episode) sure his mother killed him which was a good twist but his death just didn't seem like it benifited the story to me.

Agreed however i'm glad he's gone because i didn't like him to begin with, so i'm not to fussed about the story as such as much as the fact that they got rid of him.

im glad he's gone, i like the actor but the character was very irritating. Im not convinced he's actually dead. But hopefully. Who's next? Sayid i bet.

Although I have to be honest, even though I liked Daniel I'm just relieved that he died and not someone from the main cast!

what's stupid is that when Ben was shot, they took him to Jacob or they did something in the temple & he was Ok, why couldn't they do that for Daniel, I mean, he's her mother & wouldn't she know about that?!
