Yes, but she should have called the police on Miss Trunchbull- she is an adult, and she hardly ever stuck up for the children except for toward the end of the movie. I have more respect for her towards the end of the movie- but she should have known to contact someone of higher authority because she saw it haously it'svippen, and ob too hard for the parents to believe so...

I like Miss Honey because she is really very sweet and loving when it comes to kids. Plus, she took a liking to Matilda when discovering how smart Matilda is (and a child genius at that), and also showed how much she loved Matilda when she adopted her, because, from Miss Honey’s perspective, Matilda was the daughter she’d always wanted, but never got. :)
