“What............................there must be something wrong!” she blurted out.

When all of a sudden a flash of red light blinded her<she felt something hot sizzle on her cheek
She got up pushing the chair out of the way, she took a few steps pasulong then stumbled back, hands out against the air. There was a disturbance, something big was coming for her, she clicked her fingers and flicked out a fireball. Her rapid cursing in response she blinked quickly , her sight slowly returning to her. She sees the man batter the flames of his shirt. She spotted a familiar figure behind him

The figure disappeared and reappeared empty-handed susunod to her.
Helping her settle in to one of the chairs.
“Thanks Drew!”She sinabi her completely returning to her.
“You wel.........”
“Can some tell me what just happened?” Michael injected
“SOMEONE ATTACKED ME!” Alex whispered
“Oh I saw, that I was talking about that boy disappearing and reappearing within seconds!”..
“Yes Drew tell them”
“ummmm ........................ I have to go, I really do not want to be here When S.P finds out about this” he sinabi taking a few steps back before disappearing
“ un know pag-ibig to explain but i have to go see SP to come here and maybe he can explain to me what is going on , and maybe he can use the phone in the house to call he/she. She stood up in silence and walked into the house.

She picked up the phone and dialled the number; he picked up on the segundo ring.
“Hello Diamond” S.P said
“Hey skulduggery I have bad news...................”
“What did you do?” He sinabi interrupting her
“Let me finish first.”
“Fine, go then.”
“I have bad news and good news.”
“And how does that make difference?”
“Well now there is good and bad news, so which one do u want hear first?”

He sighed and sinabi “That’s the preposterous thing I’ve ever heard!”He paused and continued
“Bad news first then bad.”
“Okay the bad news is that someone attacked me and a mortal saw me throw a fireball at him and saw drew teleport him but ...............
“Diamond puso how could you let a mortal see you do that, you know that’s against the rules, people expect that Frome me not you.............................. they could send u to jail, how could you be so foolish , idiotic , daft, senseless.......”
“You can stop any time.”
“Sorry got caught in the moment, the good news.”
“The good news is that the mortal is my dad and he wants to met you.”
“I can understand you finding your is great but what I don’t how he wanting to meet me is great.”

“Fine where are you?”

She hung up the phone, walked outside and took her seat
“So I made the call.”
“Alex why was that guy trying to kill you?”
“I don’t know, it’s a different reason every time.”
“Every time.” He repeated
“I’m assuming that this happens quite often.”
“Yes.” She flatly
“And what if something goes wrong.”
“Well skulduggery just tends to ipakita up at the right time.”

“OH you must be skulduggery or is it S.P?”
“S.P is my initials.”
“Well I know what the stand for so what does the p stand for?”

A few days later Michael's sister Janet came to visit him
She let herself into the house and went to the kitchen.
