The Following Day
Rebecca woke up to Michael getting dressed. She grabbed one of the sheets and covered herself while she was sitting up. Michael saw her sitting up and grabbed her clothes and handed them to her with a smile on his face. She smiled back and took her clothes and started putting them on. Once she was fully dressed, she stood up and instantly, she sat back down, with her hand on her head. Michael noticed and walked over to her. "You feeling alright, Rebecca?" He asked. She looked up at him and nodded. "I'm fine, Michael. I just have a slight headache. I'm fine, though. It's nothing major." She said. He knew something was up, but he didn't want to get into it. He just couldn't believe that they had made pag-ibig last night, but...he was rather happy they did. susunod week would be hectic because he didn't want her to be all alone here in California and he'd be off on the tour. 'What if she's pregnant?' He thought, looking at her. He knew she had been feeling sick, but he didn't know if it was because of what they did or if it was natural. "I'm gonna be right back, Rebecca. I've gotta make a quick call." She looked at him and nodded. He walked out of the bedroom and went outside and took out his phone. He had called Rebecca's mother and asked her to make sure she would be alright while he was on tour with Chris. She told him that she'll be watched over once they leave. They soon hung up and Michael got her ready to head on back home. Since he and Chris were leaving tomorrow morning, he had to be sure to see her before he left. Chris was already at the house with Isis's car and Rebecca's car was in the shop. Michael got Rebecca into his car and soon drove off to her house.
After about 30 minutes
They get to her house and he stopped the car. He got out and helped Rebecca out of the passenger side. He got her things from the back of the car and took her to her doorstep. He knew the door was unlocked and helped her inside. His things were in the trunk of his car and so were Chris's things. He had also asked Rebecca's mother if he could stay just one last night with her and she sinabi that it was alright with her. Michael got her to her room and put her stuff down sa pamamagitan ng the bed. "I'll go get you your medicine. Where do you have it?" He asked her. "It's in my bathroom, behind the mirror." She told him. He nodded and went into the bathroom and grabbed her medicine and saw birth control pills. 'Birth control pills? Where did she get these?' He thought to himself as he was taking out a pill for her headache. He went back into her room and gave her the pill and she got her bottle of sprite and took it. She put her bottle down. "Thank you, Michael." "No problem..." It was bugging him about the birth control pills, though, so he had to ask. "If you don't mind me asking, Rebecca...where did you get birth control pills?" She sighed. She actually knew he'd see them eventually. She had to come up with an excuse on why she had them, but nothing came to mind. "It's for a girl's time of the month, Michael. I get really sick if I don't take it the week of that time of the month. It's not because we had done it last night." She had finally told him. She had already taken them a couple weeks ago, so she's fine for now. Michael nodded and sat down susunod to her, putting his arm around her. She put her head on his shoulder and put her arm around his stomach. Soon enough, she heard a car door close and she shot her head up. "Is that my mother?" She wondered. They got up and got out of the room and saw her mother walking in. "Welcome back, Mother! How was your trip?" Isis looked at her daughter and saw that she was cheerful...not her average self. "It was alright, thanks for asking, Rebecca. May I ask what's gotten you in a cheery mood?" She wondered. Rebecca lifted her eyebrow at her mother. "Cheery mood? What are you talking about?" Her mother knew it was mood swings. Michael was a bit confused, though. "Have you been feeling alright, Rebecca? Has staying at Michael's house affected you in any way?" "It made me feel like a kid, if that's what your expecting me to answer." Isis shook her head at Rebecca. 'She's gonna need a check up susunod week, then...something's just not right about her.' Isis thought. "Well, it's almost hapunan time. Chris is coming back with KFC soon." Michael was actually excited. He hasn't had KFC in a while. Once Chris came through the door with KFC, everyone started eating, although...Rebecca wasn't eating much. Michael got even madami curious about her.
After dinner
Michael, Rebecca, Isis, and Chris got ready for bed. Michael was wondering what was up with Rebecca ever since last night. 'I gotta find out what's wrong with her. She's all moody...' He thought, putting his pajama pants on. Soon enough, he heard someone in her bathroom and saw her throwing up. 'Oh...my...God...' He walked in and kneeled beside her and rubbed her back. He knew she wasn't feeling well at all. He was close to calling Frank and telling him to kanselahin the tour, but he couldn't, especially since it's tomorrow that he and Chris have to leave. When she finished, she flushed the toilet and got up. She was very pale and on tuktok of that, she was tired. "Come on, Rebecca. Let's get you into bed." Michael said, taking her hand. She nodded and they soon got into kama and fell asleep, her listening to his heartbeat.
The following morning
Michael and Chris had to be at the airport, ready to leave, at 10am. It was about 6am now, so he went to Chris's room and got him up. They got ready and Rebecca then woke up and went into the living room. Chris had already sinabi his goodbyes to Crystal last night. Michael was lucky enough to stay the night. Michael got the keys to Isis's car and got his and Chris's stuff out of his car and into hers. Rebecca helped them out and everything. Michael was a bit curious on how she'd take it since he was leaving. Once everything was in the car, they went back inside and had some breakfast before heading out to the airport.
Arriving at the airport
Isis, Rebecca, Chris, and Michael got out of the car and headed inside the airport. Michael and Chris had their things and they went to Terminal 4, which took them to Africa first. They had about an oras to spare so they sat down and chatted and watched planes take off and land. Once the time came, it was about 5 minutos away, Michael turned to Rebecca. "Are you gonna be alright while I'm on tour, Rebecca?" He asked her. She nodded to him and hugged him. "I'll be fine, Michael. I promise." She said. Michael hugged her back and lifted her chin and kissed her before getting on the plane with Chris. "I'll miss you, Rebecca." "I'll miss you, too, Michael." Then he and Chris got on the plane and soon, it took off. Rebecca waved to them from the terminal and she knew Michael was waving back. Isis and Rebecca left the airport and she made an unexpected turn to the store. "Why are we going to the store, mother?" She asked. Her mother turned to her. "Just to get something real quick. Trust me on this, Rebecca. And sa pamamagitan ng the looks of it, you have been too cheerful lately. We have to see what's up with you." Isis told her. Rebecca was still confused, but gave in. Once they got into the store, her mother went to the medical side of the store and found the pregnancy tests and got one, paid for it, then left with Rebecca to head back to the house.
At the house
Once they got back to the house and got inside, Isis handed Rebecca the bag. Rebecca was confused. "What's this for, mother?" She asked. "I want you to go into the bathroom and use it. I know something was up with you and Michael. I just want to be certain if it's what I think it is." Isis told her and pushed her into her bathroom. Rebecca was weirded out, but she did as was instructed on the box containing the pregnancy test. After about 2 minutes, she was shocked...the test came out positive. She walked out of the bathroom and her mother saw her face. She still had the pregnancy test in her hand. "What did it say, Rebecca?" Rebecca lifted the test up for her mother to see and her mother then was shocked. "It...it came out positive..." She wasn't sure how she was gonna tell Michael about it. Her mother then called the hospital to schedule an appointment for Rebecca to see if she's truly pregnant (Me: Mainly because it's usually the 1st time a pregnancy test will lie to you about being pregnant. It happened to my sister-in-law). "Okay, you have an appointment in two weeks to check if you are pregnant." Isis told Rebecca, putting her hand on her shoulder. Rebecca nodded and she went to change back into her pajamas, mainly because she was gonna be stuck in the house if she is pregnant.
2 weeks later
Isis and Rebecca were at the hospital, in the check-up room, waiting for the doctor. Rebecca was nervous about her check-up. On tuktok of that, if she is pregnant, how is she gonna tell Michael? She fiddled with her little bag and her mother noticed. The doctor soon came into the room. "Well, Ms. Ishtar. How unexpected. What seems to be the problem?" She asked Rebecca. "Well...I took a pregnancy test and it turned out positive. My mom thought it would be a good idea to check and see if I truly am pregnant, because I know how its usually the first time, when using a pregnancy test, it could lie." Rebecca calmly stated. She nodded and brought in the ultrasound and the jelly. "Now lift your sando and we'll check for you." Rebecca lifted her sando and she put the halaya on her stomach and started scanning around and saw something in there. "Well, I can tell you this, Rebecca. It didn't lie for you. Look." Rebecca sat up, the scanner still on her stomach, and saw a little body in her stomach. Her eyes went wide and her jaw dropped. "We do have two options for you, Rebecca. You can either: 1) Keep the baby and let him/her grow. Or 2) Have an abortion. Which do you choose?" Rebecca was so confused, she didn't know what to do. "I'll give you some time to think about it then. I'll come back in about 5 minutos when you've made your decision." With that, she left. Rebecca was looking at the ultrasound and couldn't believe that she was actually pregnant. "Mother, what am I to do? I don't want this baby, but...I don't want to give it up either." "Let me tell you, Rebecca...when I found out I was pregnant with you, I didn't want you either, but I was glad I kept you inside me. I was 18 when you were born, Rebecca. I know you made a little mistake, but it's nothing to be ashamed of. Plus, it's really up to you on whether or not you want to keep this child. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't get an abortion. If you do, you'll kill the baby." Tears came to Rebecca's eyes. She knew that killing a baby that was gonna grow in her was wrong, that's how she was raised. She nodded. "I'll keep the baby. I know killing the baby is wrong. That's what you've taught me anyway, mother." Isis smiled at Rebecca and she smiled back. She was gonna be a mother and Michael was gonna be a father. When the doctor came back in, Rebecca sinabi that she'll keep the baby. She nodded and wrote it down and then they left the room and headed back to the house.
Back at the house
They got inside the house and she sat on the sopa and called Crystal and told her what happened. Isis heard Crystal's squeal from her bedroom and she chuckled. Crystal was happy that Rebecca was pregnant. Rebecca told her not to tell Chris because she knows how much of a blabber mouth he is and he'd tell Michael ANYTHING he was told. "Got it, don't worry. I won't tell him anything. I swear on my future grave. You can count on me!" Crystal said. "Thanks so much, Crystal. Well, I gotta go now." Rebecca said. "Alright. Bye! And congrats!" "Thanks. Bye." Then they hung up. Rebecca was now debating with herself. Would Michael be happy if he found out he was gonna be a father? Should she even tell him that she's pregnant? Those tanong ran through her head and soon, she laid down on the sopa and then took a nap.
