Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Michael Malarkey Teases the Season 7 Premiere

Season 7 premiere, Michael Malarkey (Enzo) does — and he’s teasing its awesomeness. What did he have to tweet about the upcoming episode?

“Just read Season 7 Episode 1. BOOM. It\'s nearly time, people... Sweet dreams. #TVD,” Michael tweeted last week, making us seriously jealous. We couldn’t stay jealous for long, however, given the fact that we were too darn excited to get confirmation that Michael would be in the Season 7 premiere. Sure, we

he would play an integral part given that he is a) a series regular and b) hanging with Lily Salvatore (yep, we ship them), who is returning as a recurring character in Season 7, but we can never be too sure.

We also couldn’t stay mad given the adorable exchange between Michael and co-star Paul Wesley (Stefan) following Michael’s initial tweet. Paul tweeted back at Michael: “Where can I find this.” Michael’s only response?: “PAUL NOTICED ME.” Adorbs!

excited for Michael’s Season 7 storyline. Though we were a big fan of his character in Season 5, we were less thrilled with how the show chose to utilize him in Season 6. Things got better at the end of last season when Enzo’s storyline was better integrated into the main Mystic Falls action through his connection with Lily Salvatore. It sounds like that is going to continue in Season 7, with Enzo struggling to choose between Lily, the woman who turned him into a vampire, and Damon, his best friend. Drama will most certainly ensue.
