Something to keep in mind is that I'm not someone that grew up playing the Mario games or watching the Mario cartoons or the live-action movie. Despite not having much experience with the Mario franchise, I was interested in seeing the film.

When I was younger my paborito film series was the live action Alvin and the Chipmunks film series. Although I was a casual tagahanga I became a obsessed tagahanga later on. I loved this series for a few years, but in 2016 I realized that I wasn't a super big tagahanga anymore. Recently I noticed that my reasons for loving these films were silly.
