Taylor's music and lyrics are far superior. Katy is the much better vocalist, though.

I feel Taylor is more interesting in terms of her songs and her background than Katy.

By the way, Katy isn't musically better. Not even close. She hasn't won 10 Grammys like Taylor has. And when was the last time Katy won the Grammy for Album of the Year? Taylor has won Album of the Year (an award held by greats like Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland) TWICE, making her the first woman to ever do so. Katy might be vocally better, but certainly not musically or lyrically.

Neither of them are really my cup of tea, but some of Taylor's earliest songs were enjoyable background music at least.
