I'm in the Fluttershy side. (Go team Flutters!) I mean, in the song Fluttershy tries to make a point by saying they're just caring for their own lives and family, while Applejack completely ignores what Fluttershy's trying to tell her and just cares for her own crops.

It was a very good example of a real life conflict. Both sides had their reasons and ideology. But unlike MLP, life is ugly and sometimes, you have to protect what's yours or they'll take it away from you. Sometimes there's no peaceful solution.

im not sure...i mean of course we need to take care of our property and oursleves but thinking at the bats perspective maybe they dont have any choice? i mean,they're animals (...and so are ponies...),and yeah,like Fluttershy said,they need to take care of their young ones as much as the ponies...but Apple Jack has a point too,they've crossed the line...i just...cant pick between them ('~')
