Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Drastic Times Call For Drastic Measures – NCIS Los Angeles Season 6 Episode 1 – Deep Trouble Part II
NCIS Los Angeles is back for another season and there is no lull in the action.  We pick up right where we left off, with Sam and Callen locked inside a submerged submarine.  Not just any submarine either, it is loaded with fertilizer making it in essence an armed missile.
The rest of the crew is aware of them being on the sub but with it not visible from the land, they are at a loss to see where it is and where it is going.  It is going to take some time and all their resources to figure this one out.
You may recall at the end of last season, mother hen Hetty was summoned to Washington for reasons we weren’t quite sure of.  As she is on her way to the airport, she checks in from the car and learns about Sam and Callen and orders her driver to turn around.  If she wasn’t already in big trouble with her higher ups, she surely is now for not following their orders to report.
Deeks pays a visit to the captain of the submarine who is in the hospital recovering from severe burns suffered during the take over.  El Capitan is less than willing to talk and Deeks has to put his hands on his wounds to give him a little motivation.
Meanwhile, Kensi and her new nemesis Natalia (Deek’s old girlfriend) are working together in between insults and punches to find answers about the sub.  They better hurry because based on Sam’s computations (involving pi and calculated without the use of a pencil and paper) he and Callen only have a few hours of air left to breathe.  Brains and brawn!
It doesn’t look like there will be any chance of getting the submarine to the surface, their next bet is to sink it.  So with and electrical fire set by Callen and a whole cracked in the side by sexy muscle man Sam, they are on their way to sinking.  Wait, what kind of plan is that?
Deeks tactics have worked and he has the name of the true owner of the vessel and the supplier of the pounds of cocaine on board.  Hetty has made her way back to the office and learns that their are orders from the military to find and destroy the submarine.  When Eric asks what they can do she says to pray and loudly.
With Hetty “persona non grata” with the government, she cannot call in any favors to help to save her colleagues so it is up to Granger to man up for the little lady and make it happen.  Unfortunately, he seems to have way less pull in his whole body then she has in her little finger and a torpedo is fired.
Thanks to Sam’s borderline disturbing amount of knowledge of sinking things and air capacity in lungs when in the depths of the sea, they hatch a plan of escape and do so, you guessed it, just in time to avoid being blown to bits in the ocean below.
Who doesn’t love an I saw that coming a mile away, predictably happy ending!?  With everyone on dry land and Natalia and Kensi now BFF’s, all is right in the world and Marty raises a toast.  Only unknown now is about Hetty and what awaits her in Washington.  She hints that she may be hanging up her magic wand and it seems Granger may being hanging up his less powerful one too.
Will the NCIS team be able to go on without their figure heads?  Heck with all the knowledge they seem to have about every possible body function, substance, vehicle, and situation that any human could ever possibly encounter in the entire universe, I think they will be just fine!
