Hanging sa pamamagitan ng A Moment

She stared at the phone, wondering if she should call him. But what if I ring and he rings at the same time and we miss each other? She slapped a cold, harsh palm against her forehead. I'm not this girl, I'm Ziva David, she told herself, shaking her head.

She had changed so much since she met Tony. She'd become the jealous, reading-into-everything-he-says type of girl. She detested what she had become. She defended herself against murderers, rapists, you name it. So how could one man make her madami scared than she had even been, yet still make her puso skip a beat, every time he came into the room?

She'd decided that she'd had enough. Her hands were shaking with such force as she grabbed her cell that she almost dropped it. She controlled herself enough to dial Tonys number. She listened to the ring while she waited for him to answer. What am I doing? Before she could finish her thought, Tony picked up.

"Hello?" She could sense a smile was on his face.

"Hi Tony, it's Ziva."

He went to reply but was cut off sa pamamagitan ng a very nervous Ziva. "Tony, I'm in pag-ibig with you." Shock was evident in the little sounds he made, trying to think of something to say.

"Well, it took you long enough to say it!"

"I think what you were meant to say was, 'I pag-ibig you too, Ziva.' she laughed down the phone.

"Oh yeah, sorry. I pag-ibig you too, Ziva. I'm glad you sinabi it first. I don't think I would've had the guts. I've always loved that about you, the fact you're not scared of anything."

"Goodnight, Tony."

"Goodnight, Zee-vah."

There was a nice silence before they both hung up. She put the phone down on the mesa and grinned. He never realised the one thing she was scared of madami than anything, her biggest fear. It was losing him. But now she was with him, she knew she'd never be scared of anything ever again.
