How do Eva and Cora know each other?

After that scene in "The reyna is Dead..." it's clear that they were close, but how close? Were they friends? Family?

I think they may have been sisters and instead of Cora being the girl from the Rumplstilskin story Eva was and she became reyna while Cora was left behind to live the rest of her life as a millers daughter.

But seriously, I think Eva sinabi something about Snow's crown also being her mother's mother's or something? This would imply that Eva was born into royalty. Therefore, she and Cora couldn't be sisters, because Cora wasn't born into royalty. Right?

If they were sisters, Regina was FORCED into a marriage with her Uncle. Which might not have been as big of a deal back then in FTL, but I'm not sure the writers would do that.

My guess is they were mga kaibigan of some sort.

Uncle sa pamamagitan ng marriage so not quite that bad. Yeah, someone else point out the crown thing to me. Theory crushed. Unless they were separated at birth... Any way I'm excited to find out susunod week (hopefully).
