“slap me back.. le!” she teased. No one ever called me Le except Liam and Harry. Liam obviously told her that.



“nobody calls me that except harry and-” i paused.
“except liam? Aw!” she teased. I scowled over at her.



“oh just be quiet Hayley! I don’t know what niall EVER saw in you! And what liam sees in you!” i blurted out. I was expecting another slap in the face but i didn’t get one.


She just laughed.


“i went out with niall two years nakaraan for popularity! I never loved him! I dumped him within three days! And liam..... well he has to see something in me if he cheated on you with me for madami than a month.” She grinned.




“you evil bitch!” i screamed. She looked shocked.
“you’re just jealous me and liam are such a good match.” She smirked. I shrugged.



“well i guess horrible people are attracted to each other....” i sinabi as i walked away.




I continued walking when a voice roared from behind me:
“BOO!” i turned around and saw that it was niall.




“niall you almost gave me a puso attack!” i laughed. He gave me a halik and then looked at me strangely.




“woah leah! What happened your eye?” he asked.
“why? Whats wrong?” i asked.
“you’ve got a massive red mark just under your eye!”
“oh ya. I bumped into your ex Hayley on the way and got a slap in the face.”
“why?”
“lets just say we don’t exactly ‘like’ each other.”
“ya she’s a bitch.”
“then why did you go out with her?”
“i could say the same thing about you and liam.”
“well then!”




When we got to work, i cleaned the counters and niall sat down. What a lazy ass!
“is all you ever do at work sit down?” i asked.
“yup pretty much.” He grinned cheekily at me.



I smiled back. It was weird how much i used to hate him... or did i? Was all the hate i had towards him just a way of covering up how i really felt?

Soon it was time for the cafe to open. I put on my apron. A few customers came in so i seved them while niall did his usual ‘sitting down and letting me do all the work’ then louis walked in.



“hey louis!” niall said.
“HOW ARE YA NIALLERS?” he roared.
“hi louis!” i sinabi quietly.
“wey uy leah! Hows work?” he asked.
“boring.” I laughed.


“ya i’d say niall’s a great help!” louis sinabi sarcastically, pointing over at niall sitting down.



I giggled quietly to myself.


“so anyways.... have you got any carrots?” he asked.
“um no. Sorry louis.” I apologized.


“well its going to be on your conscience when i’ve got no carrots.” He said, sulking.
Just then Lois walked in.


“there you are!” she said, pointing over to louis.
“lois! I missed you so much!” he ran over and gave her a kiss.



“i missed you too lou.” She gave him a hug.


“hi lois!” i waved at her.
“oh uy leah!” she grinned.
“lois leah wont give me any carrots.” Louis sobbed.
“lets go get some them. See you later leah! Bye niall!” she sinabi as louis lifted her up and carried her out the door.

I laughed to myself. Louis and lois make such a lovely couple. And louis is just so crazy!



Niall walked over to me and sat up on the counter.


“doesn’t your dad not allow you up on the counter?” i asked him.
“so? I don’t listen to my dad!” he said, trying to be cool.



Just then niall’s dad walked past and saw niall on the counter.


“niall get off the counter.” Rob sinabi as he walked away.
“yes daddy.” He sinabi as he jumped off the counter.



I laughed. He went bright red.
“shut up leah!” he sinabi moodily.



Another customer came in so i served him. I was finished work soon after that so me and niall headed to the shopping centre to find something for him to wear to his birthday.



We went into remix first and niall immediately found what he wanted to wear.



“what do you think?” he asked.
“they’re really cool. Go in and try them on.” I told him. He nodded and went into the changing room.



I checked my phone while i waited for him to come back out.
I had a new message from zayn.


‘vass happenin leah?? Me nd da gurlz were wonderin if we shud throw a suprise party 4 niall’s bday?’
I replied:


‘ya definitely! But when??? Xx’

‘next Friday?? X’

‘ya sounds cool:) c u l8er xx’

“so how do i look?” niall asked. I had forgotten about him! I looked up and froze.

He looked absolutely A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!


a red checked shirt, skinny jeans and really cool red converse. I had to stop myself from drooling!



“leah?” he snapped his fingers in front of my face. I woke up from my trance.

“oh um sorry. You look really cool! You should definitely get that for your birthday!” i said.


He looked at himself in the mirror.

“ya im gonna go get it. I’ll be back in a few minutes.” He said. I nodded and he made his way to the counter.
