I sat outside on a lawn chair. How could this be possible? How could this happen? How... that's what I want to know.
"You okay?" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Tiffany. She sat sa pamamagitan ng me in a dark brown wooden rocking chair. I swallowed hard, "Yeah..." I mumbled. You see I was pregnant but, come to find out, the baby died. I don't understand how she or he could have died in such a young stage. I looked at the pinkish kahel sky. It was almost dark out.
"Tell me if you need anything..." Tiffany sat on the chair for a few madami segundos then left.
Amie POV:
"Li, my friend is going to come over tonight for burgers... k?" I leaned against the marble counter.
"Okay, Fiona?" He asked seasoning the burgers.
"Mhmm.." I kissed him on the cheek and walked into the living room. Anna was sleeping on the floor with her paborito Tinkerbell blankie. For some odd reason she loves sitting and sleeping on the floor. If we put her in her kuna she will fuss but if we put her on a the floor, she will fall straight to sleep.
I sat down on the sopa and looked up at the white ceiling. It was quiet except for the noises of bottles being squeezed, foiling paper being messed with, and Anna sucking on her Pretty and Pink pacifier. I heard the door kampanilya ring and Anna picked up her head. "Ray-Ray?" She said.
"Yeah Ray-Ray is here!" I sinabi as I opened the door.
"Damien?" I asked, making sure I wasn't just seeing things.
"Amie.." He looked at me. I turned around and saw Liam outside cooking the burgers and Anna standing behind me looking confusedly at Damien.
"Ray-Ray!" She demanded.
"Ray-Ray will be here soon, go play with your toys.." She turned around and wobbled over to her wooden toy-box that was painted kulay-rosas with purple and blue mga paru-paro flying all over it.
"Damien..leave." I demanded.
"Listen okay I was stupid for what I did, for a taon the only person I could think of was..."
"Damien! I am engaged," I lifted up my left hand, "And I have a child... that's not yours!" Anger swept across his face, "Leave.. and never come back!" I slammed the door in his face. Liam came inside.
"What was that?" He was carrying the barbecue sauce.
"Oh nothing..." I lied.
"Are you okay?" Liam but the barbecue down and walked over to me.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I lied again. Someone knocked on the door.
"I'll get it," Liam sinabi walking towards the door. My puso started pounding, Damien that better not be you, I thought. When Liam swung the door open I saw Raylee run in with a Dora backpack.
"Hey Liam!" Fiona said.
"Hi, come in.." She walked in.
"Hey Amie," She gave me a hug.
"Hey!" Anna yelled.
"Well, hello to you too!" Anna smiled. "Wanna see my room?!" She asked Raylee in the cutest little voice. Raylee smiled, "Yeah!" She squilled.
They both ran to Anna's room.
"The burgers are almost done!" Liam sinabi walking outside.
"So...I have to talk to about something!" She sat down on the sopa and I did too.
"Okay I meet this guy and he is really sweet and I think I really like him," She took a breath, "But he is still in pag-ibig with his ex."
"Oh my goodness! Your in pag-ibig with someone? What's his name? What does he look? I am really asking alot of questions! Aren't I?" She smiled.
"Yes you are! I don't know his name... I meet him at Nando's and it was like pag-ibig at first site!"
"So you don't know his name..."
"Nope!"
That night we all at burgers and talked. Best night ever.
