Just this one and the Lucas one.
I don't find Peyton depressing, and everytime she is depressed its always for a legit reason. I also really liked Nathan in 5x01. And IMO, Brooke was wrong for sleeping with Chris but I wouldn't call her a slut because of it.

Because of:

A) the timing of it [when she supposedly loved Lucas, and had just finished ranting about him being "the one" for her]... nice way to prove it! :P

B) the fact that it's CHRIS KELLER for crying out loud. He's basically a long running joke around Tree Hill, known for being desperate to hook up with any girl that he comes in contact with... and she sleeps with him, of all people? I dunno. I think that alone just kind of proves how willing Brooke was to hook up with pretty much anyone at the time, if she was willing to stoop as low as Chris.

Ofcourse, just my opinion!

i agre with the a part.. but i dont think brooke would sleep with anyone.. i just put it as an optiion mostly because of part A.

I agree with Moosh about most of the stuff she stated.

I think Peyton was emotional, but I wouldn't call her depressing. And when her character was dark, angsty, and kind of depressing- I found her to be at her best! In my opinion, it made her interesting & more human-like. But I also LOOOVE emotional characters and characters with a lot of depth & dimensions and I tend to find that the dark characters fit that category.

I don't think Lucas was indecisive. He made decisions and was confident with his decisions, but unfortunately they only lasted for one season. So each season he wanted something (or someone) different. But most of the time (except in season 1), he made decisions and stuck to them.

Nathan was a jerk at the beginning of season 5, but I always like Nathan dark.

Brooke should never have slept with Chris Keller and it was wrong (and nonsensical) for several reasons, but I wouldn't call her a slut (I also wouldn't use that word period. It's really damaging to all women).

But I hate how Haley went on tour. I'm glad she went on tour and I think it was the right move, but it's HOW she did it that was soooo wrong, selfish, and inconsiderate.

This ruined his character for me. I loved him in every other aspect, but when it comes to girls, he annoyed me so much.

First he's in love with Peyton, but as soon as something went wrong with her, he hooks up with her best friend, but he still loves Peyton and then cheats on Brooke with her and off course loses both, then he realizes that he actually loves Brooke, Brooke's the one, when all his dreams come true he wants Brooke by his side. When Brooke breaks up with him, he is so desperate, and wants her back, but then at the championship in one second he realizes: it's Peyton, she's the one. Then as soon as things didn't go with Peyton how he wanted, he leaves her, starts a relationship with Lindsey, and off course he loves her, she's the one, he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He rejected Peyton so many times in S5. Even after Lindsey left him at the wedding, he claimed so many times that he loved her, he was so sure he wanted her back until the last episode of the season and then off course all of a sudden he finally realizes what everyone else knew all along: he loves Peyton.

I mean he was great boyfriend to Brooke in S3 and to Peyton in S4, S6. But I hated his indecisiveness or whatever that was.

I don´t judge the other characters.

Brooke: I think everyone can sleep with whoever he/she wants. Why judging Brooke sleeping around while Lucas, Nathan even Mouth did the same. I personally liked the "slut" Brooke much more than the whiny adult Brooke.

Peyton: Yes, she can be depressing. And I think it´s very annoying. But I don´t think it´s a negative character property. Because by being depressive she doesn´t hurt anyone and mostly she had a good reason for being depressive.

Haley: She was young and used a chance. And if Haley and Nathan would not follow their dreams, now they wouldn´t have the money to spoil Jamie.

Nathan: He didn´t behave like a good father and husband in S5. But he had his reasons for being depressive and pathetic. And he changed.

And to Lucas, I agree 100% with OTHjovana. This is the reason why I can´t take Leyton or Brucas or especially Lucas seriously.

About Brooke, I don't know if I'd use the term slut (she was drunk, right?) but I didn't like the storyline because she went back to being S1 Brooke

I don't think Peyton is depressing because she as a character suffered depression and from time to time there was too much angst and suffering in her life. Emotional aspect of her character imo was always the most interesting one. I also disagree that Brooke was a slut for sleeping with Chris although I think it says a lot about her "epic" love for Lucas. Still she wasn't Luke's official girlfriend at that point, they were non-exclusive as dumb as the whole idea of it was, so no, it wasn't a slutty move, it was just a proof of how Brooke's feelings for Lucas were not as deep as she made them out to be.

I don't exactly hate the idea of Haley going on tour and in a way I understand her desire to follow her dream while being still way too young to find a balance between marriage and career (which she sucessfully found in later seasons), but HOW it was handled, with Haley coming out as a completely uncaring and selfish person especially when she didn't come back to Nathan after he got into a car crush, was painful to watch, especially since I'm a diehard Naley. The lack of Haley's pov on the situation made the whole thing look weird, unpretty and offensive.

Also agreed with the one about Lucas.
