Brooke, I didn't like her in the highschool years, but I felt like her character improved so much seasons 5&6, but then took 50 steps back again in seasons 7-9. I don't mean to offend anyone but for me she got more immature when she should have been maturing.

Rachel, I hate how they turned her into this druggie who steals and betrays her friends. I mean Rachel was never perfect in highschool, but they always showed her being there for Brooke and then she goes and steals from her? And marries Dan? I feel like her character did the same as Brooke, became more immature when she should have been maturing.

And then the main reason I disliked Mouth in the later years is mostly because I hate how much screen time he was given. He's supposed to be a secondary character and back up the main characters but it came to the point where he was getting the same exact and at times more screen time then the main characters. Plus he just got really boring.

^ Exactly. And it definitely didn't help anything that the show just flat out started kissing Brooke's ass towards the end either. Hearing how "AMAZING!" Brooke Davis is every 5 minutes (literally) only made me dislike her more. Ugh. Makes me cringe just thinking about it.

I did nit like highschool Brooke, but I LOVED S5-S6 Brooke.
