Peyton!

Gotta agree. Brooke's definitely the most complex character comparing with the rest of core 5.

To me they all have their own issues. I could have easily clicked and voted for Peyton because she appears as so broken, but we know why she is complex as she talks about it more because of her mother, her phobia of losing people closest to her. Brooke closes herself off she shuts people out and leaves only herself do deal with her own problems. As much as i love peyton she does lean on people more than brooke does -Brooke has the tendency to not talk about her problems as it hurts her too much. Because Peyton loves art and music and has that whole complex vibe about her id vote for her but brooke is the popular kid who also is emotional, she has trust issues & you can tell by the look in her eyes at times jut how vunerable she really is. I think peyton was always meant to be the mysterious one and dont get me wrong i totally think she is, i just dont think mark ever expected brooke who was sposed to be a 'cheerleader' to grow wth such emotional depth and have such major issues -i guess her heart though is just one of the millions of reasons we all love B.Davis. Nathan & Lucas are also complex to me because of all the stuff they went trhough with Dan. haley not really in my oppinion though -she is very what you see is what you get. Peyton & Brooke to me are the most complex.

Peyton although i do like Amy's description of why Brooke is more complex. I just think that Peyton will always be messed up emotionally and I think that Brooke could be saved one day!

Brooke seems to change and have different emotions all the time. But I would say peyton 2 but brooke is my first pick

brooke definetley. i could go on and on trying to explain, but theres more to brooke davis then what meets the eye and being complex means being a blend of intricate parts and thats brooke, theres completley different sides to her shes the furthest thing from perfect but thats what makes her interesting. i really dont think anyone else on the show fits the complex category. i mea maybe peyton but you could peg the kind of person peyton is a mile away and after that noone ever comes close.

There are 2 layers to Brooke. That's pretty much all it takes to figure her out. Which is good considering everyone else has like one layer, bar Peyton.

Peyton. why? Beacuse you can either love her or hate her. Any other character never gave you so many reasons to argue about. She's not freaking walking perfection like Brooke.

I'm stuck between choosing Peyton or Brooke. Both are complex and both sides bring up a good argument...but I just can't seem to choose which girl is more complex.

Well, my first choice would be Peyton, because we got to see her many times hurt and she suffered a lot in her life, but as I thought more carefully, I realised that a complex character is not one that has a lot going on emotionally, but the one that is the most difficult to describe as he has many qualities.
Brooke is definitely a character that has many different dimensions. She is a girl that can be really crazy and go wild, but she can also show great maturity! At Julian's breakdown about Brooke, I can characteristically(hope that word exists!) bear to mind two words: Motherly - Childish These words are so different, but everyone would agree: That's Brooke!

BUT most complex of the whole series, hands down Dan

Brooke's not THAT complex. She's a cardboard cut out of the insecure cheerleader I've seen countless time. But like Sarah said, two layers which is good considering...
