I don't think it's in a bad way, I just didn't bother adding an option.
It's not the same because Keith and Karen weren't together when they were this young. Peyton hasn't given up on Lucas either, she's just ... put it on pause, so to speak.
It's different but not in a bad way.

i agree with you tinna but i meant mainly if you believe that they love each other the same way keith and karen loved each other!maybe i should refrase the love story part:D

i think that payton and luke are i love and r like them but payton said not now latter on in life but lucas gae up on them!!

K, karen and keith were true love just like leyton. So in s1, keith wanted karen and luke wanted peyton. karen turned keith down cause she did not yet see herself with keith. peyton turned down luke, but not for the same reasons. peyton wanted to be with luke too, but as we all know, there was an infamous best friend in the way, heh. Eventually keithen (karen&keith) found their way back to eachother and truly fell in love (s3). Leyton also found their way back to eachother and fell in love All Over Again (s4). The difference is, keithen was ready for marriage right away (they'd waited long enough with all of the melodrama in between). Leyton were much younger and were not on the same page. luke wanted to get married. Peyton was not yet ready, but wanted to marry him someday...Luke gave up on Peyton and decided to "move on" (or so he claims). Keithen would have had their happily ever after straight away with no problems in between if keith hadn't been killed. Leyton is still getting in their own way (especially luke), so their happily ever after is not in the cards right now. I'd say that leyton and keithen's main similarity is they share the same true love & are meant to be. Their main differences are their circumstances and mindsets, which grant them different fates than one another...Keithen's love story is also over. Leyton still has a chance for a happily ever after in this lifetime if Luke would just realize it already. Keithen will be together again in the afterlife (in s4, keith said he'd wait)...

Leyton's love story is similar to the one Dan and Karen had not Keith and Karen. Lucas's love story with Peyton is exactly like Dan's love story with Karen.
