I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Orphan Black at Comic Con: Cast and crew on season 3 | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
stars Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Dylan Bruce, Kristian Bruun and Ari Millen, as well as co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson gathered on stage during the show’s panel presentation in the waterfront convention center’s massive Hall H.
Here are five memorable moments from the panel:
—That twerking scene: Maslany and Bruun’s notorious bedroom scene — complete with spanking, twerking, confetti and cash — was actually inspired by a Comic-Con experience last year, when the actors danced together in an otherwise empty bar. And Bruun recalled two underwear fittings for the scene, joking that they settled on some blue “high end” briefs that “brought out my eyes.”
—On sexuality: Series co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson making an LGBT-positive series was a calculated move. “Felix was the gay stepbrother … it evolved from there,” Fawcett said. “I think we just wanted to make a show with characters you care about.” Manson added, “We don’t want anyone’s sexuality at the forefront. It’s a mantra for us. TV is better at sexual representation. We should be beyond asking or caring.”
—An ode to Crystal: Maslany played a new clone this season — the misfortunate manicurist Crystal. “We didn’t know Crystal was going to be a thing,” Maslany said, noting that her take on the character was inspired by Jenny Slate on
Kroll Show. Gavaris talked about Felix’s connection to the character in their shared scene. “Crystal is so sweet and well meaning,” he said. “He’s so empathetic. He felt bad for her. [It was] impossible not to find the kinship.”
—A farewell to Paul: Dylan, whose character Paul was brutally killed off in season 3’s finale last month, said he was told last year his character would die. “I’m going out like a boss,” Dylan joked, though later expressed genuine sadness at leaving the series.
—A farewell to Delphine? Is the Dyad Institute director, scientist and Cosima love interest really gone for good? “Nobody’s safe,” according to Manson. “But she’s
BBC America also showcased a blooper reel from the series, as well as three faux trailers depicting Alison and Donnie as telenovela stars, horror film victims and ’90s sitcom characters, complete with a theme song. Watch the cast of
