do parrots just mimick or do they know what they are saying, you decied! one of my b&g macaws knows everyone in the house sa pamamagitan ng name and some of our mga kaibigan names too. he knows basic colors, and asks for his favorites sa pamamagitan ng name, "wanna pine nut, nana, wana nana". when i'm going out he asks, "store, eens ( genes ) and "drive", even "van, ruck ( truck ), then it's "go, wana go, van, go drive van", and if i say that i will be rite back he says "wana go, i sing" then he starts to sing his song, "hopping tuta you're the one" and so he goes on, ( the tune of rubber ducky ). he likes to get the change at the store to play with. i have many macaws, most do talk somewhat, but not like orion. i could go on but you decied...so, mimick, is that not how we all learn to speak! - mrmacaw -
 Cute isn't he!
Cute isn't he!
Once there was a wild ault male loro named Lesley and he was all alone. This is what he looks like, in the picture to the right. One rainy afternoon, he was out in the rain and couldn't find any shelter so he got soaked to the bone. That night he was so wet he couldn't fly or move. Lesley just stood there like a rock. Then a shadow appeared from a distance and Lesley knew it was danger coming his way. "What could I do?!" Lesley thought. The object came closer and picked Lesley up. Then he brought Lesley to some weird looking building and brought him in. Lesley felt warm already sa pamamagitan ng the warm apoy and finally fell asleep. Although he was wet, he felt warm and cozy. He let the huge object dry his feathers gently with a huge cloth.
