Everyone was breathless as Jane and Alec took turns trying to get through to my shield. Jane sent ten attacks aimed directly at me. I flinched at the last one and Jane let out a huge smug grin. Still not one had made it through my shield. I went down my shield to see if there was any holes where Jane or Alec could get through. I found none, I know felt confident that I could stop all their attacks. I couldn't feel where Alec had sent his power to attack. I opened my eyes and turned to Edward.

“Has Alec tried yet?”

“Yes, It's slower than Jane's.”

“Oh.” And then I noticed it. It was a clear sparkling mist right at the edge of my shield. When the mist finally reached me I shrieked in surprise. It was madami powerful than I had ever imagined.

“What Bella, What is it?” He couldn't hide the worry in his voice no matter how much he tried.

“Oh, nothing just the force of the mist surprised me.” I sinabi it loud enough for the Volturi to hear me. I wanted them to think that I was weaker than what they thought I was. I saw a grin stretch across Jane and Alec's face. Good they had heard me. Then I saw the mist creeping up again. I knew he was heading for the same spot as before, but I had already checked that spot and I had it covered. It hit harder than before almost breaking my shield and then it seemed like someone had hit the fast pasulong button. Jane sent out another round of attacks, this time aimed directly at me. Then Demetri leaped. Aro graped his ankle and pulled him down to the ground. Demetri got up and looked at Aro in total disbelief. Aro whispered something in his ear, to faint to hear, and Demetri nodded and th disbelief disappeared from his face.

“My mga kaibigan I think I may have found a way to lessen the death total.”

This time Charlisle spoke. “And what would that be Aro.”

“I think we should have a one on one competition and which ever one wins will decide what our susunod ilipat is.”

“Let us think one the offer and I will get back to you.”

We all turned to Charlisle and waited for him to speak.

“What do you guys think we should do?”

Edward spoke this time. “I think that we should do the competition. I already know who they have in mind and I know that the outcome will most likely be in our favor.”

“Okay, thank you Edward does everyone agree that they are willing to do the competition?”

Murmurs of agreement arose from everyone.

“Aro we have decided that we will take your offer.”

“Oh, thank the heavens I didn't want it to turn into a total bloodshed when it could have possibly been prevented. Okay well, I would like Edward and Demetri to come forth.”

I wrapped my arms around his waist in a silent plea. He knew what I wanted, but he just gently picked me up to halik me and stepped forward. He was cool and composed unlike me who was a nervous wreck. I suddenly felt calm and I turned around to see Jasper looking at me worriedly. I smiled a smile of gratitude to him and turned back around. I saw that Emmett and Rosalie had come to stand beside me. Emmett put his hand on my arm to comfort me or to keep me back I didn't know. Edward walked to the clearing and Aro through his arm over his shoulders. I gritted my teeth and Emmett tightened his hold on my arm. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't comfortable either. I defiantly knew that Emmett was keeping me back now. He knew that if anything happened to Edward I would fling myself at Demetri in an instant. Edward slided out from underneath Aro's arm and dropped into a hunting crouch directly across from Demetri. Aro walked back to where his brothers were standing. Then it started and Edward let out a growl as he launched himself onto Demetri. They went to the ground. Edward was on tuktok about to ripped off Demetri's leg when Demetri kicked his legs out from underneath him. Now Demetri was on tuktok of Edward and this time Demetri was able to get a piece of Edward. Edward let out a screech of pain as a metallic sound was sent through the air. I almost Nawawala it. My vision went red with rage I couldn't stand to see Edward in pain. I knew Edward had been lying when he sinabi that the odds were in our favor.

“No, Stop. Aro I have something that might interest you.” I hadn't thought my plan through throughly, but I knew that I had to do something.

“Well, before I tell will you let me talk to Maggie real fast.”

“Sure, Sure Bella whatever you need.” Aro put his hand on Demetri's shoulder and Demetri let Edward up, but grabbed him sa pamamagitan ng the neck and held him their.

Maggie came running up to me and I whispered in her ear my plan. She looked up at me in horror. “It's the only way to save my mga kaibigan and family. I know that Aro can't resist me, he never has been able to.”

She finally seemed to understand my reasoning and I turned to face Aro. How could I ever go through with this. For Edward, for everybody. I took a deep breath and began my speech.

“Dear Aro, I don't want no bloodshed here today and I know that you don't either. So I have madami or less and offer to make, but I want you to read my mind.”

“You know I can't do that Bella. Your mind has a shield and I can't read it.”
“Try Aro.”

I threw my shield to Maggie as Aro came to grab my hand. I took only a few segundos and I knew he knew my plan. I didn't want Edward pagbaba Maggie's mind and once Aro already knew my plan there was no stopping me or Aro.

“I pag-ibig it, but I must talk to my brothers.”

“Of course you must. I will be awaiting your answer.”

I walked back and then I remembered Edward.

“Oh Aro, would you mind letting me have my husband back.”

“Of course dear Bella.”

I went and grabbed Edward from Demetri. He seemed reluctant to let Edward go, but I growled and he let him go. Edward wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me to him. I could feel he was in pain. Even though it was a general rule I pulled away and put his arm around my shoulders and we headed back to our family. I was now glad that I had sent Renesmee away. I didn't want her to see her father like this. We made it back to our family and everyone was asking me what was going on.

“Guys, you will find out soon enough.”

I walked over to Maggie and said.

“Was he lying at any point.”

“Yes, when he sinabi he needed to talk to his brothers. You know that he was already going to accept your offer.”

Edward couldn't take it no longer. “Bella what is going on? Please tell me you are driving me crazy.”

“I'm sorry Edward I can't tell you. You would stop whatever I am planning on doing. Please just leave it at that.”

Edward looked like he was going to continue the conversation further, but I turned to talk to Alice. I knew that she knew what I was planning. I could see the horror in her eyes as I looked at her.

“Please Alice, I am begging you please don't tell anyone until the decision is final.” Then I thought popped into my head. Edward can hear Alice's thoughts.

“Noooooooooo.” I let out a groan. He can't find out not now.

He must have heard Alice's thought's because he came up to me and took my face in his hand. “I will not let you do this Bella. Never not as long as I live.”

“Please Edward, you have to let me do this.” I could feel everyone's eyes on us. I knew they wanted to know what was going. I hoped that Edward wouldn't try to stop me or tell anyone. But of course he gathered Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, Alice, and me. He told them what I was planning to do. Then he whispered something in Emmett's ear to low for me to hear. Emmet nodded and came over to me and grabbed me holding me in one of his big madala hugs.

“Sorry little sis. I can't let you do this also it's Edward's orders.”

“Edwaaaardddd!! Tell Emmett to let me go. I am only doing this to save everyone from their death's.”

“Bella, you would only be bring yourself and your family to their deaths along with you.”

“Have you ever thought how this would effect the rest of us Bella,” Esme asked.

“No, I just wanted to save everyone.” That's when I broke I couldn't stand it anymore. “Don't you guy's understand,” I was yelling now, “I'm only thinking of what's best for everyone. If that means I die or become part of the Volturi guard then so be it. I don't want to see any of my family or mga kaibigan die. I'm not sure I could live if Edward or any of you died.” I had calmed down a little, but I was still fuming.

“Now, Emmett will you please let me go or do I have to get away from you myself.”

“No, Bella I will let you go as long as you don't go all crazy on us.” He let me down and I was glad I didn't want to hurt Emmett just to get away from him.

“Bella,” Carlisle spoke this time, “you don;t have to do this you know.”

“But Carlisle I do. I know that Aro can't resist me and this would be giving him partly what he wants.”

“No Bella, your not doing this.”

“Yes, I am Alice now please will you guys just let me say my good- byes to everybody or are we going to continue arguing.”

“No, I guess not.”

I went over to The Amazons, Irish, and all the covens to say good-bye. Then I went to say goodbye to Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Rosalie, Alice. Alice wouldn't let me go.

“Alice, Please, please let me go!!”

“Bella, why, why do you want to torture us. You could be killed.”

“I'm not going to be killed Aro wants me to badly.”

She finally released me from her almost breaking grip if I hadn't been a vampire she probably would have crushed me. I susunod walked up to Jasper. I knew he knew that I was scared and worried about what they would decided. What surprised me the most was that Jasper grabbed me into a big hug and whispered to me “Calm down Bella.” And I suddenly was calm. After I had calmed down I went over to Edward who was whispering something to his self and he was starting to worry me. I kissed him on the check and took his face in my hands.

“Edward listen to me. No matter what happens I will always pag-ibig you.”

“You swear Bella because the araw you stop loving me is the araw that I will come to the Volturi to ask them to kill me.”

“No Edward whatever happens you can't do that. You will find another pag-ibig you just have to patient.”

“But,” I put my finger on his lips.

“Can we just spend these last few minutos without arguing.”

“What Edward?” I was getting impatient.

I felt him cringe when he remembered that day. And then the araw we got married and on Esme's Island. And the biggest the araw our daughter was born.


“So you see. Everything will be fine. I do have a couple of request that you do for me.”

“Okay, I'm not sure I want to listen.”

“One please take care of Renesmee for me. Two don't you guys become crazy over this to where you don't do anything. Three don't let Jacob do anything stupid plus tell him I pag-ibig him and that I always have, but just as a big sister. Oh and last Don't you go and do anything stupid. Or else I will come out here myself with Aro's permission of course. I will come out here and I don't know, but you will wish that you never ever put that thought in your head. Got it.”

“Got it.” His voice was barely above a whisper. I knew with all these things taken care of I would be able to let go easier. He didn't know that though otherwise I knew that he wouldn't do any of these things.

“Bella dear,” I was guessing that Aro and his brothers and come up with an answer, “will you please come here.” When he sinabi that Edward hugged me closer to him.

“Sure Aro.”

In the lowest voice I leaned up to Edward and sinabi “I pag-ibig you Edward. I always have and I always will. Now you have to let me go.” He picked me up and kissed me. As much as it hurt him when he put me back down I pushed away from him and started to walk across the field to Aro, but a hand grabbed my wrist and spun me around. Of course it was Alice and Emmett together.

“Alice, you knew what will happen if I don't do this. Please, please let me go.” I started begging.

“Bella, I do know what will happen. I have seen it, but I still can't let you do this.”

“Yes, you can and you will.” And with that I yanked my wrist free and walked over to Aro.

“Have you made your decision dear Aro?”

“Bella, I am pleased to welcome you to the Volturi.” He leaned down and whispered in my ear, “would you like to be my adopted daughter?”

I heard hisses from my old family. I knew they didn't like Aro that close to me especially Edward.

“Yes, Aro that would be wonderful.”

I heard Edward growl and I held up a hand to silence him. Aro took my other hand and spun my around to face the guard.

“I would like to introduce our newest member of the Volturi family. M new daughter Bella.”

I saw hatred tumawid Jane's face and shrieks of horror from my nakaraan family especially. Esme. She thought of my as her daughter also. Aro leaded me to where Demetri was standing and whispered something into his ear to low for me to hear. Aro turned back to my old family and spoke again.

I'm very sorry that a fight almost broke out between our families; we are going to leave you in peace now.”

I wanted to take one final glance at Edward, but I knew if I did it would break me. We turned to leave when I heard a lobo howl. It was a very long and agonizing howl. I knew Jacob knew what was going on because of his mental link with the lobo pack. I hesitated and Demetri turned to me.

“Having segundo thoughts are we?” A smile crossed his face.

“Nope, no segundos thoughts at all.” With that me and Demetri turned and raced each other tahanan along with my new family.
