One day, as holly and Jayce were walking to school together, Jayce did most of the talking. Jayce then said, "Holly, you haven't sinabi a word. Is something wrong?" holly said, "It's nothing." Jayce said, "I know it's something." holly said, "I just didn't sleep well last night. That's all." Jayce didn't seem to buy that. She said, "Come on, Holly. I'm your friend. You can tell me what's wrong." holly said, "My grandma is in bad shape. She is very demented. She still knows who I am, but she doesn't seem to understand what I tell her anymore." Jayce said, "I'm sorry to hear this." holly said, "I told her about meeting you, and she just couldn't put together what I was telling her. She wasn't like this a taon ago." Jayce gave holly a comforting hug. After this, holly felt better. As time passed, the two of them became closer. One day, holly came to Jayce crying. Jayce asked, "Are you okay?" holly said, "No, I'm not." Jayce asked, "What's wrong?" holly said, "My grandmother doesn't know who I am anymore. She hit me across the face." Jayce said, "I'm sorry, Holly. Did it hurt?" holly said, "It didn't hurt, really, but Grandma never hit me before." Jayce said, "I don't know what to say." She then gave holly a big hug. holly said, "Sure you do. Your hugs say a lot." Jayce said, "I'm glad that I can help." After a pause, she asked, "Do you want to know how I got these scars on my face?" holly said, "Sure, if you want to tell me." Jayce said, "Okay, here it goes."
