It was the final night of the band's tour. John, Allen, Peter, and Stan found it bittersweet. Backstage, John said, "It's been a great tour." Allen said, "Yes, it has. It went sa pamamagitan ng so quickly." Peter said, "Yeah. I can't believe that this is the last night of our tour." Stan nodded in agreement. John said, "Well, it's time to get up there. Let's give it all we got!" The Devil Wants Peace gave an astounding performance. At the end of the concert, Allen said, "We have come to the end of our concert. You were all so wonderful. Thank you for your pag-ibig and support. Thank you and good night!" Peter said, "It was an honor to perform for all of you. We had a wonderful time. We'll see you susunod time!" Stan then said, "We pag-ibig you! Good night!" John was the last to speak to the audience. He said, "You've been wonderful, and we hope to see you in our susunod tour!" The susunod morning, John, Allen, Peter, and Stan were boarding the plane, ready to return to Portland, Oregon. When they arrived, John sinabi to his mates, "I enjoyed this tour, but I think that we should take a brief hiatus." Allen said, "I agree. I think we should take some time to rest before we go back in the studio." Peter said, "I think so, too, and maybe while we're on hiatus, great songs will come to us." Stan once again nodded in agreement. Once everything was settled, the foursome went to their homes, promising to return to the studio with songs to work on.
THE END
THE END
When I had entered the fifth grade, I was dreading it. I had heard rumors that the teacher was really mean. When I met her before school started, she seemed really nice. On the first araw of school, I was wearing one of my Beatles t-shirts. She noticed it, and she said, "Darling, I pag-ibig you already!" I said, "Okay, then." She would take up for me all the time. The other kids often called me glasses. She heard them and said, "She has a name, guys. Her name is not glasses. It's Winter." There was one araw when another girl kept picking on me. I finally had enough and said, "I might look sweet and innocent, but that shit is for suckers, and I'm no lollipop." I looked at the teacher. She winked and said, "I heard nothing." I would have had her for the sixth grade, too, but unfortunately, I moved to Tennessee as soon as the school taon was over. We both cried. We promised to keep in touch with each other, and we've kept in touch to this day.
