The big night finally arrived. Les and Jimmy were going to be doing their first kalesa in front of an audience. As they were preparing backstage, Jimmy asked, "Are you nervous, Les?" Les said, "Maybe a little." Jimmy said, "I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't worry about what your dad said, all right?" Les said, "All right." Meanwhile, a boy about their age was attempting to enter the club. He was very dreamy. A lot of girls liked him, but sometimes his young face made it hard for people to take him seriously. The security guard said, "You have to be eighteen to enter this club. Do you have an ID, son?" He reached into his pockets and said, "I thought I had it. I can promise you I'm eighteen." The security guard said, "You look awful young." Just then, another boy, who appeared to be older came to his rescue and said, "It's okay, sir. He's with me." He then showed his ID. The security guard let them in. The dreamy boy said, "Thanks. My names Charles, sa pamamagitan ng the way." The other boy said, "I'm Felix. You're into rock and roll?" Charles said, "I sure am. I play guitar. Do you play any instruments?" Felix said, "I play bass." Soon, Les and Jimmy's ipakita started. They put on a stunning performance. In between songs, Jimmy made some jokes. The audience laughed and cheered. After the performance was over, Charles sinabi to Felix, "I think they could use another guitarist and a bassist." Felix nodded in agreement. Charles said, "I know! We should go talk to them." He then went to one of the club's employees and said, "Excuse me. Do you know where Les and Jimmy went?" The employee said, "They left to go for a walk on the beach. I'm sure if you go now, you can catch them." Charles and Felix went to the beach. Sure enough, Les and Jimmy were taking a walk, talking about their performance. Felix said, "Let's go talk to them."
The susunod day, Leila and Greeley took Paul for a walk on the tabing-dagat while Leila's aunt and uncle relaxed on the beach. Greeley said, "I can't believe today is our last araw here." Leila said, "I know. Vacations always go sa pamamagitan ng so quickly." He said, "Let's make the most of the time we have." She said, "Yes." That evening, they had a seafood meal. They then began packing for their things so that they would be ready for their trip back home. Greeley sinabi to Leila, "Thank you for inviting me to go on vacation with you, Leila." She said, "You're welcome, Greeley." He said, "We'll have to do some madami fun things this summer." She said, "Yeah. That would be great." They settled into their beds to rest for the trip the susunod morning.
The susunod day, Greeley accompanied Leila and her aunt and uncle on a ride to the nearest beach. Leila's uncle drove. Leila's dog, Paul, enjoyed looking out the window at the sights. When they stopped for lunch, Leila took Paul out on a leash to "do his business". A few people stopped Leila and asked her, "What kind of dog is that?" Most people didn't believe her when she told them that Paul is a purebred German Shepherd Dog. Leila didn't mind, though. She was aware that most people don't know that Shepherds can be blue, especially solid blue like Paul. Around 6:00 that evening, Leila, Greeley, Leila's aunt and uncle, and Paul arrived at the property. It was a nice tabing-dagat house, and it was very pet friendly. They were all tired from their trip. After unpacking, they got hapunan and relaxed for the rest of the evening. A few hours later, they called it a night.
Leila and Greeley had just finished their first taon of college. They were looking pasulong to the summer. Greeley asked, "What are you going to do this summer, Leila?" She said, "I'm mostly going to relax and take it easy. What are you going to do?" He said, "I think I'll do the same, but we should do some fun things this summer. After all, summer doesn't last forever." She said, "You're right. We should do some fun things together." He said, "I'd like that." Later, Leila texted Greeley and said, "My aunt and uncle and I are going to the tabing-dagat this weekend. They sinabi that I can bring one friend with me. I first asked Rita, but she can't come, because she's taking summer classes as well as taking on a summer job. Would you like to come with us, Greeley?" He said, "I'd pag-ibig to, Leila." She said, "Great!" He asked, "Is your dog, Paul, going too?" She said, "Of course he is." The two mga kaibigan were looking pasulong to their weekend getaway.
