I'll make this short as I don't have to say much to prove my point on this topic. I will also express my point in the appropriate language of Penn and Teller because that's the language us fans understand.
I just finished watching the Boy Scouts Episode of P&T Bullshit. Firstly, I agree that the Boy Scouts should NOT discriminate against any BOY who wants to sumali scouting. I also agree that there should be a separation of church and state when it comes to Boy Scouts since it is publicly funded. I do not agree with the content of the scout codes in putting God before self, family, and country. That's some fucking terroist talk is what that is. I do not agree with the boy scouts in making official proclamations about who makes better role models, gays or straights. I think that is very disputable either way.
However, I do not understand the logic of letting gay men act as leaders who go camping with and spend enormous amounts of private, unsupervised time young, naive boys. Let me put it this way: imagine you have a 13 taon old daughter who wants to go camping with her girl friends. They will be up in the mountains under the supervision of one parent. except this parent is one of the little girls fathers. Does that sound right to you? Would you be 100 percent OK with that? If you had a choice to send a gay dad or a straight dad on a camping trip with your little girl, who would you send? If you answer the straight dad then you are fucking retarded! There is no fucking way that anyone with half a brain would choose the straight dad over the gay dad! I'm not saying that every man is a pedophile. But the probability of your daughter being molested sa pamamagitan ng a straight man is WAY HIGHER than sa pamamagitan ng a gay man. It's simple, natural logic!
I think you see what I'm getting at: Just as straight men are madami likely to molest little girls than are gay men, gay men are much madami likely to molest little boys than are straight men.
