Book Mistake or Reader Mistake?

On pg. 46 of The Lightning Thief, it says:

"My mom made a hard left. We swerved onto a narrower road, racing past farmhouses and wooded hills and PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES signs on white picket fences."

My tanong is:

How did a dyslexic kid read a sign in the middle of the night, during a storm, riding in a car that's going a high speed? Anyone know?

Could be written in Greek. Sometimes he can read some things if they're short.

I think either: A) It could've been written specially clear because the camp is full of dyslexic kids. B) Remember he is telling the story of his life! He could've just mentioned that name because he thought it was important! C) Book mistake that may-akda AND publisher AND editor missed. (Very rare.) Probably b/c since many dyslexic demigods pass sa pamamagitan ng that sign it was probably written in such a way to make it easily readable sa pamamagitan ng anybody whether dyslexic or not. Either that or it was in Greek eiter one is my guess:D
