Period Romances Sagot

I would be Elinor Dashwood from Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Although her financial situation after her father's death leaves herself, her mother, and her two younger sisters is poverty, she is all together a magnificently well-developed character. She is the "backbone" of her immediate family. She is trustworthy, realistic, and quite reliable. She is mature in her demeanor and wise in her decisions. She is ready and willing to get her hands dirty sa pamamagitan ng engaging in labor, such as housework that would normally be taken care of sa pamamagitan ng the servants. Lastly, she understood how to control her emotions and did not allow her fanciful thoughts to run away with her emotions and her reason. She was is pag-ibig with Mr. Edward Ferris but did not go mangarap ng gising and speaking openly about her pag-ibig for him, unlike childish and audacious Marianne Dashwood. In the end, the unexpected happened to Elinor; she got her wish. Edward became hers. He was once secretly engaged for five years to a certain Ms. Lucy Steel, Elinor's friend, but fate changed their paths dramatically and Lucy ended up marrying Edward's youngest brother, Robert Ferris. How wonderful is that turn of events?!! Elinor was rewarded for not "throwing" herself upon the dashing Mr. Edward Ferris. She was rewarded for being wise with her decisions and emotions, and she saw her sudden shift to poverty as a chance to gain character and a pag-ibig of being productive rather than merely sitting around and moping about her depressing state of affairs. She's such an in-depth character with SUCH admirable character qualities. I would long to be her on ANY ibingiay araw :) <3 <3 <3
