Mina looked to the side, shaking her head a bit and biting her lip and looking a bit sick. "No, I don't think this will be something I forget anytime soon. I wasn't far from Radiel's wife when they stabbed her child and...the wailing that was heard before they slit her throat too was..." Mina seemed to go blank as she heard the wailing again and again, hearing the screams before in her ears hearing the cold slicing of the throat again and again until jolting up, tensing as she heard a drop of water from condensation in the cave hit the ground. "Ah..." She then looked over at Rex and shook her head. "I thought I'd help. At least we both can go to Cantenseel now."
Hei looked over at Kierra and rubbed her back, knowing she might vomit from it all which he understood beccause he was about ready to as well. "Hey uhm...well....it'll be okay." He then went quiet, wondering if that was something he could even say. "Well....maybe not. But we're okay, I didn't let them hurt you." Hei said with a smile, vaguely remembering the blind rage that allowed him to kill four men.
Tiras laid on the ground, thinking of a time as a child when he had a fever and his mother nursed him back to health. Only this time his fever was from a terrible wound, and his mother was not here. He grit his teeth and yelled out in a mix of anger and pain, weakly trying to get up but failing. For all the armor, for everything he had been told his entire life- to endure a wound so bad in the first battle he had ever been in shattered his image of himself. Angrily, he hit against the ground before looking at Tsukiyomi. "I'm not sure what happened today- how you...suddenly became a warrior but I need you to teach me." Tiras said to him while looking into his eyes. "I will burn the elves, just as Archaeus did and I will merge them into my empire with the flames." He whispered out, having tears glisten and come out from his eyes. "If my people starve, they will revolt...but if they are angry, they will need purpose I will direct them. A war for our children....our women, our men- a war to reclaim what is theirs from....from these savages." He hissed out. "These monsters!"
Faendal leaned against the wall and shook, hearing Tiras's words and knowing that they were true. "I fought my entire life to not be these things- to not be what the humans or my father labeled us as." He sobbed out, holding his head with his two hands. "But my son....he was these things....and he took, he took everything! My life- it's work, all I've fought for....all I've lost, he just turned it...to ash. My capital...my beautiful capital- what if he's destroyed that too?...is it worth saving if he's taken what I loved from it?"
