Yeah I have actually.I've created many background characters for New Moon,Eclipse,And Breaking Dawn,but it never crossed my mind when I read Twilight.

I wanted to be Esme cause she is very pretty and sweet to everyone. plus she is married to like the hottest guy in the world. (sorry edward and jake i perfer blond Docters) and then i wanted to be Nessie because my mga kaibigan call me her and plus i would pag-ibig to be her! ...i mean...she lives with the CULLENS for petes sake.

I actually imagine myself as a Twilight character that I made up! Her name's Amy, she's a 14 taon old human, and she lives with the Cullens. Yeah I have a lot of spare time!
