"Sakura was the one to fill his (Sasuke's) lonely existance" words.from Kishimoto's databook. Even though SasuSaku fans cling onto this smugly, I tend to to think this quote isn't quite realistic. Sakura did not fill his loneliness. Sakura only liked him for appearance. (stated in shippuden) Now, Sasuke always thought she was an annoying fangirl. But over sometime, he did start caring for her. He saved and protected her, complimented her, and was there. But the two couldn't bond close because SAKURA doesn't know what loneliness is. She might not even know what pag-ibig is.
