Selena Kayleigh Gomez was born on July 22nd, 1992, in New York to her parent Rick and Mandy. She later moved to Grand Prairie, Texas, where she spent the rest of her childhood days.
When Selena was about seven, she decided she wanted to become an actress. Mandy took Selena to an audition against about 1,4000 kids. Selena soon appeared on Barney and Friends, where she met her BFF for life, Demi Lovato.
At the age of twelve, Selena traveled to Austin, Texas, for her Disney Channel casting call. Selena was soon on a plane to Los Angeles to audition for a Disney Channel show.

I think that this story is just awesome. It really rocks. For people who haven't seen this story and think that this is all barbie stuff because of the baby dvd just so you know it's not anything like it. It is awesome. It really does rock...............If you want to see this you should go on to youtube and type in another Sinderella story full movie part ( )

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have been best mga kaibigan since pre-school and WOW they still are.Selena and Demi are the best celebritie mga kaibigan ever.They are GREAT role mga model for kids.We all know Selena and Demi are GREAT mga aktres and have AMAZING voices,and dont EVER forget they are best mga kaibigan too.So why is everyone asking who is better Selena or Demi?You know i dont think anyone should do that because they are best mga kaibigan NOBODY should compete them together.They will feel very upset if they find out people are holding them against each other and competeing.So i know i am Demi and Selena's BIGGEST tagahanga ever,but even if your not a Demi or Selena tagahanga that cant mean you can hold them against each other or even compete them to each other.So have a puso even if your not as big a tagahanga as i am to Demi and Selena , PLEASE dont compete OR turn them against each other.Dont forget they are BEST FRIENDS!!!!
