Some serial killers were abused and other had perfect lives. Most serial killers have no fore thought their frontal lobe was damaged, either by abuse or just not being born with it fully formed. Most serial killer cases, the killer has a pattern, but it's not necessarily pre-meditated. Which means choice is not a factor.

I really don't buy that excuse that killers are born because of some kind of genetic malfunction and there was nothing that could have been done by anyone to stop it.
A mother or father is like God in the eyes of a child. They have such a huge effect onhow they interact with the world.
But it does very. Some were mercilessly abused or neglected, others maybe didn't know their parents, and others like Bundy, Berkowits, and Dahmer had lives that were next to nothing was out of place.
But children are like experiments with parents as the chemists. If you can fail massively or make a little mistake, but the results can be just as staggering.

Many serial killers had really awful, abusive childhoods, so the parents definitely contributed to their child's future crimes, so yes, they should be partly to blame. Then again, most people who had horribly abusive childhoods didn't grow up to be serial killers, so it can't JUST be the parents' fault; there must be other contributing factors as to why someone becomes a serial killer.

I understand that some parent's are cruel to their children and do awful things to their children for no reason at all or because they have drug, alcoholism, or mental problems and yes it could influence the child for those reasons but the child has the choice of being the same as their parent's or choose to be better than their parent's many children in abusive and same kinds of situations have their own feelings and they can choose to not fall in the same footsteps as their parent's. Everyone has a choice to become who they want to become and they don't have to be what their parent's are and how they treat them, although it's wrong in every way to abuse your children, because if you are doing that to your children, then give them away to someone who can't have kids and want them or to someone who wants your kids and will love them because you don't deserve to have them if you can't treat them as what they are to you, your children stupid idiots! (that's to the parent's out there that are abusing their children!) One thing I know is that KARMA come back for everyone one day in life so if you abuse your kids, just know that one day will come when you'll have to pay for what you've done to them and yes it will happen, everyone gets what they give out sooner or later so god will send karma for evil people I believe that strongly.

well let’s see. almost all serial killers have gotten abused at a young age n stuff so i think that’ll be the only reason to blame a parent of a serial killer. but generally i don’t think it’s okay to go straight to the parents. so, depends

but if u get abused by your parents, or anyone...going straight to murdering people is not a option
