See You Again // Joan and Sherlock

It had been almost an oras since Sherlock went down to the basement. Joan had began to pace in front of the door wondering who could be down there, she knew it wasn't Irene as she was in prison. She stopped pacing to open the door, she heard Sherlock's voice but didn't recognize the other one. She crept quietly down further reaching the door at the bottom, she carefully opened the door and peered through the small gap.

'So let me get this right, you want me to help you get rid of a drug pating you owe a bunch of money too?'

A few weeks had pasted and no one had heard from Sherlock. Joan spent most of her time at the police station, trying to help in anyway she possibly could. Gregson came back after searching for three hours.

Sherlock sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for his phone to ring. He should have just told her what was going on then none of this would be happening. His phone rang. It was Joan
'Hey.'
'Hey. I'm at my parents apartment.'

Sherlock woke to find that Joan wasn't susunod to him. He got up and went her room, He found her lying in her bed. He crawled in susunod to her and just started at her. He couldn't help but think about what it would do to her if she found out what he did. He leaned in and kissed her forehead gently. Joan stirred then woke to find him smiling at her.

'Hey. I didn't hear you come in last night.'
'I did get in till 11. My parents can talk.' She sat up and rubbed her eyes. 'And i was thinking...'

When Joan got to the police station, she found Sherlock in Gregson's office.
'Hey, you OK? I saw what happened on the news.'
'I'm fine, just a minor injury.' He showed her his arm. 'Nothing to worry about.'
'How did this happen?.'
'Don't know.' She hugged him so tight.'I'm fine Joan, honestly.'
'I know but what if something worse had happened?.' He pulled away gently.

As Sherlock sat, waiting for Joan, he thought about the past couple of years. His relationship with Joan has gone from strength to strength, sure they've had their moments but what couple hasn't? He has a beautiful baby boy, who he adores so much and his relationship with his father has gone from none existent to rebuilding. And now he's here.
