Well I've had several people tell me I can't sing- one of my mga kaibigan is really stuck up and tells me I can't sing as well as her (we're about equal tbh), and most of the people who I don't get on with have told me I can't sing, but the only one who made me want to stop pag-awit was a teacher who sinabi "your voice has a nice quality but maybe not for singing. Have you tried acting?". I sing in a choir, so I ignored him (I already do pagganap anyway) and I think I'm actually an alright singer. So don't worry about what your 'friends' say. If you enjoy pag-awit and think you're good at it then carry on!
