I was like that 2,i just started pag-awit a little bit around people at work and sometimes they would complement me on my pag-awit and sometimes they would sumali in and sing with me if it was a song they knew.you just have to break yourself in slowly, singing a little bit here and a little bit there.

I hate pag-awit in front of people to, but my payo Is to just force yourself to do it. Do whatever you have to and just focus on the reward and praise at the end... but don't forget the lyrics!

Trust me, it starts out like that. When I used to perform solos as a kid, the first time I ever did it was the most nerve wracking experience ever. On auditioning araw i was shaking like crazy, but that was because I was alone in a room of all men. But when you are in front of a huge croud like in an auditorium, as soon as you start, you start and the whole experience feels blurry. You don't remember a thing until you are done, then you are just like "DID I REALLY JUST DO THAT?". It's what happened to me. I actually got to carried away shivering back stage that the MC had to call me after she announced my name again.

My main advice, don't tell yourself don't be nervous. It's actually scientifically proven that when you tell yourself don't be nervous you become madami nervous. Just take a deep breath and say "if you are nervous, that's fine, everyone get's nervous" I swear it works!

I don’t tell anyone I’m nervous. I let my mind go blank as I walk out. I don’t allow myself to think it nor feel it or anything or else I get super nervous.
Then I’m a lot less nervous. Lol. I can’t get rid of it completely even though my job is public speaking and I’m never nervous there.
