Not Your Typical Country Girl Chapter Nine
It was getting cold while I was sitting under this lonely tree. I was getting chill bumps too which didn't help. I grabbed the blanket and went back to Clay's truck. It was much warmer over here sa pamamagitan ng the fire.
"Hey Harmony," Samantha said, "you're hair looks so pretty!"
"Hey," I sinabi excitingly, "thank you! Are you having fun?!"
I was so happy someone was finally talking to me!
"I am," she sinabi smiling, "how bout you?"
"It is okay," I said.
"Do you not like it," she asked confused.
"No, I do. Its just that some girls aren't bein' very nice," I said, "you are the segundo person who has talked to me tonight!"
"Yeah, some of the girls can be a little mean! Really," she asked shocked, "no one has come to talk to a beautiful girl like you?!"
"Nope, only Tucker has and the some girl pulled him away," I shrugged.
"That's just awful," Samantha said.
"Eh, I am use to it," I said.
"Hey babe, uy Harmony," Dustin said.
"Hey," I said.
That makes person number four!!!
"Havin' fun," he asked.
"She is bored to death," Samantha sinabi as she was speaking for me, "we are the only people here to hold an actually conversation here!"
"Oh really," Dustin sinabi shocked, "I would have thought everyone around here would be huddle around you and swampin' you in questions."
"Well, there not," I signed, "which is alright!"
"Lets see, who would be a perfect match for you," Samantha mumbled under her breath.
"Uh oh, Sam, do not be playing matchmaker," Dustin said.
"Fine," she grumbled, "Tucker would be perfect though!"
"Why does everyone keep saying that," I asked.
"Who has sinabi that already," she asked curiously.
"Some lady when Abigail and I were shopping the other day," I shrugged.
"Oh okay," she said, "lets dance Dustin, this is my paborito song!"
"We will be back," she smiled as they danced off.
Here I was, once again, all alone. What a surprise that was; not!
I had to say I was very disappointed in this party. It was not as fun as I was hoping it would be.
I sat there and watched everyone dance. It must be fun to be able to dance. I did not know how. I hoped someone did not ask me to dance. That would be embarrassing. I saw those girls again. Making another lap sa pamamagitan ng the truck. They passed as they were whispering and staring at me. It made me feel lonely. I wish I had friends. It just wasn't fair.
It was late, I just knew it. I was getting tired. How was Clay, Dustin, Lance, and Finn not tired and ready go? I guess when you are having fun, Tim flies sa pamamagitan ng and you just don't realize it. I could fall asleep now; I am kinda scared what might happen to when I go to sleep. But I had an idea!
I jumped up down from the truck and pulled the blanket off the bed. I opened the door to the truck and jumped in the back seat. I laid down and covered up with the blanket. This was much better than that ole stupid party out there.
"Mom, is going to kill me, Tucker," Clay's muffled voice said, "we have to find her!"
Well that nap didn't last long. I was still tired but not as tired as I was before.
"She couldn't have gone too far," Tucker's muffled voice said, "she is prolly in the truck taking a nap! The poor thing is miserable out here. No one has talked to her the whole night!"
"You sinabi you did," Clay sinabi as the light came on above me.
"Ugh," I groaned as I rolled over into the floor. Making a loud thud.
"Found her," Tucker laughed.
"We have been looking fir you," Clay sinabi a little annoyed.
"Sorry, I got tired," I said.
"Okay," he shrugged and walked away.
"Havin' fun yet," Tucker asked grinning.
"I was till you woke me up," I stated.
"You are missing the whole party," he said.
"It's alright, no one is missing me," I said.
"Clay was," he stated, "and I was."
"You two were just worried I had gone off into the woods," I said, "which doesn't count!"
"Okay, if you say so," he shrugged, "you wanna dance?"
Here was the dreaded the tanong of the night!! Why me, oh why me?!?
"Um, I don't know how to dance," I stated embarrassed.
"It's okay," he said, "it's a slow song!"
"I don't know," I said.
"It ain't gonna kill ya," Tucker sinabi as he pulled me sa pamamagitan ng leg.
"Don't you dare pull me out this truck," I squealed, "I'll fall flat on my butt!"
Tucker pulled me out to were I was sitting right in front of him. I looked up at him momentarily and then jumped down from the truck. Which was kinda bad, considering how close we were now.
"We can dance right here," Tucker sinabi in a thick southern accent.
"Okay," I smiled.
He pulled me away from the truck's door and closed it behind me.
"Here, balutin your arms around my neck," he sinabi as he lifted them to his neck, "and I'll put my hands here."
He placed his hands on my hips and everything sort of clicked together in that one moment. A slow country song was on.
"Is the party any better now," Tucker asked smiling.
"A little bit," I sinabi blushing.
I looked behind him were those girls were standing. They were staring at us and they were laughing at me.
"Look at her, she has too left feet," one of them sinabi and they all broke out in laughter.
"I, umm, should go," I sinabi embarrassed.
"Harmony," Tucker sinabi as I ran away, "really, Isabelle? Was that necessary?"
I wasn't sure were I was going but I was going away from those girls. I went far enough were I could see them but I was in total darkness so, I was okay. I broke down crying. This night was a disaster!
