Pirates!,reason.1.pirates have ships,and sail all over the world!,ninjas travel on foot or horseback.reason.2.cannons beat any ninja weapon.reason.3.when pirates fight they have a whole ships crew to back them up,ninjas usually fought alone,are in small numbers.reason.4.pirates got paid in pearls,jewels and gold!,i dont know what ninjas were paid with.reason.5.pirates have a cooler and more varied wardrobe,ninjas were limited to close fiting black outfits.reason.6. i think pirates are cooler then ninjas. :)

So how exactly does a pinja work? Which piratical elements are added to the basic ninja?

Pirate + ninja = pinja. Quick and speedy as a ninja, seaworthy and very sea smart like pirate. Very easy to learn, hard to do.

Did you know this is actually a big thing people have been disputing over for ages?.... I think it's the real kind of ninja vs. pirates controversy...I don't really know.... Personally, I'll put my money on a ninja any day, and since I'm too lazy to think of my own reasons, I'm just going to find some info on the net.
- ninjas can use the darkness to their advantage
- Ninjas have Real Ultimate Power whereas Pirates have the awesome ability of ownage.
- It is a proven fact that a ninjas is 9999% more likely to beat a pirate in hand-to-hand combat during the night than during the day and 150% more likely when they both have the melee weapons of their choice.
- In melee combat, the ninjas have an obvious advantage because of the strength and durability of such a light-weight weapon as compared to the heaviness and lack of workmanship of the cutlass.
- it has been statistically shown that,under normal circumstances, 100 ninjas will always beat 100 pirates in battle. In fact, 100 ninjas will always beat 200 pirates
My own small reasons:
Pirates, for the most part, smell very bad; a unique sent only pirates carry. It'll be easy for a ninja to spot out a pirate, then using it's sneak attack to kill the pirate, and since the pirate is 9/10 times drunk, it is easier for the ninja to beat a pirate.
Non-fighting related: why would you always want to smell and be dirty and wear the same clothes all the time? Also, male pirates always treat females as...well, you know. Very degrading if you ask me. It doesn't look like pirates take much care of them self, so that could lead to dying at a younger age.
But truthfully, I don't get the whole "pirates vs. ninja" commotion. How are they even pertinent to have people feel so strongly opinionated about who would win, or whatever the case is. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" and I don't have anything against pirates, but if we're all being honest with each other, I think it's pretty evident who would win in a fight.

@HPCouples: Alright, I understand your reasoning and I do agree on some points (mainly about hygiene, alcoholism, and the treatment of women). However, I am still a pirate person. What I love about pirates is their noisy, swashbuckling, almost theatrical nature. Frankly, I am not one for adventure, but I am strangely and inexplicably attracted to the drama of piratical action. If I was to be forced to do something dangerous, I would rather go all out and make a (perhaps somewhat unnecessarily) huge deal out of it, rather than keep everything silent and secretive. Paradoxically enough, though I am shy and normally rather quiet in the presence other human life, I hate the idea of silence, and I often find myself craving the decidedly LOUD adventures of a pirate's life.

Oh, by the way, the whole debate only interests me because of something called Nerdfighters. Have you ever heard of this? Just curious.

HPCouples,were there any women ninjas?,i know there were women pirates,the most famous being,Ann Bonney,Mary Read and Madame Ching Shih.Madame Ching Shih was a brilliant cantonese pirate captain she commanded an entire fleet of ships,she also was the most successful pirate who ever lived!,she retired rich and undefeated! she was awesome! :)
