Laurent was now 14 and he wanted to be like his mother-a Jedi. Ahsoka was worried sa pamamagitan ng this. She didn't want Laurent to go through what SHE went through. Of course, he thought his mother was just exaggerating. He wanted to help serve his galaxy. He wanted to be a hero.
Laurent and his mother were having an argument one day. "Why do you exaggerate over that?" he asked in protest. "I'm your mother! I have a right to worry about you!" Ahsoka argued. Laurent got even angrier. "Why can't you support my decision to be a Jedi?" he shouted. "Because you have your own place." Ahsoka answered about the royal blood. "Alright, whatever you say mom! You obviously have my future all figured out!" Laurent angrily replied as he stormed out.
Ahsoka tearfully walked into the trono room. She smiled a little smile when she saw her now 3 taon old twin daughters, Merida and Padme, playing with their father. "Easy, mi 'ladies!" Tiberius sinabi happily as they tried to tackle him. "Girls, no playing roughly." Ahsoka scolded. The girls did as they were told. Tiberius saw a look in Ahsoka's eyes. "Is something wrong?" he asked concerned.
"Girls, me and daddy need to talk privately." Ahsoka stated sweetly. Merida and Padme did what they were told again and happily ran out of the trono room. "It's Laurent again, isn't it?" Tiberius wondered. Ahsoka cried briefly. "I don't know what else to do!" she tearfully confessed. "Ahsoka, you can't stop him from making choices." Tiberius sinabi softly. "I know that. I just don't want him being accused of something he didn't do!" Ahsoka replied about the murders SHE was accused of with a tear running down her cheek.
"I know you're only trying to protect him, but it's his life." Tiberius stated. "But he's apart of the royal blood!" Ahsoka protested. "If he wants to be a Jedi, you know you can't hold him back." Tiberius said. Ahsoka sighed tearfully. "I pag-ibig that boy so much. If I Nawawala him or any of my children, I'd be destroyed for life!" Ahsoka replied ready to just cry. "I'd be like that too, but I always say to myself that if Laurent had died in battle, he'd die a hero." Tiberius confessed. Ahsoka thought for a minute.
"What do you think of his career as a Jedi?" she asked. "He's got all my support." Tiberius answered. Ahsoka had to come to terms with her oldest child's future. "This won't be easy." she sinabi quietly. "I know." Tiberius comforted. Ahsoka kissed her emperor husband and went to find Laurent. "What do you want now?" Laurent angrily asked.
"I want to talk to you." Ahsoka answered. Laurent was still angry at his mother, but he listened anyway. "I just talked to your father. I want you to know...You can be a Jedi." Ahsoka tried to say. Laurent was moved. He took his mother's hand. "I'll be careful." he stated. Ahsoka smiled tearfully and put her hand on her son's cheek. A now 11 taon old Iroh came bursting into the room.
"I want to be a Jedi too!" he exclaimed. Ahsoka and Laurent shared a cheeky smile. "You have to wait afew madami years, little brother." Laurent happily joked. "Until then, I want to help dad rule the land!" Iroh happily compromised. "Well, let's go help him!" Ahsoka replied as she took Iroh's hand and lead him to the trono room. "I pag-ibig you." Laurent mouthed to his mother. Ahsoka smiled in acceptance replying back.
