No one will deny that the Prequel trilogies have flaws or will call them better than the original trilogy. But at this point - and it seems like from the beginning people unjustly bashed them just to seem " cool" and get attention. After eight years, it is now nothing madami than a childish fad to bash and bash the prequels. They are good pelikula that told the story of how Luke and Leia Skywalker came to be the unique and very important separated twins that they are in the original trilogy. Not to mention how their father came to be the monster he was until he redeemed himself for his kids. I think the fact that he went from a free-spirited everyday kid, who suffered the life of a slave to an insufferable evil cyborg-man makes it even madami scary. Was there alot of CGI yes, but we saw alot madami worlds and aliens in the prequels than in the original trilogies and it would have cost alot of money to build all those sets, besides there have been pelikula with madami CGI in them and have never gotten this amount of bashing. Was the dialogue cheesy at times? yes. But not enough to merit this amount of hatred, Some of the actors sinabi as did Carrie, Harrison and Mark- that the dialogue is easy to write but hard to say. But my point is as a whole the pelikula complete a very well made story of Anakin Skywalker and his downfall, how he met the pag-ibig of his life, and how together they formed very special fraternal twins that would one araw save the galaxy against their unknown father. How often can you say in a movie that The villain is the Father of the Hero and the Heroine? Even from the opening scene of " A New Hope" there is irony from the audience's point of view. The argument between Vader and Leia- She has no idea this monster is her own father, the reason she exists, and he has no idea this " rebel leader" is his own daughter. So why dont we quit bashing , and appreciate the pelikula as a whole- all six of them each one brings something to the story. And starting with 7 something madami will be brought to the galaxy.
