“Your résumé is extremely…blank” the man in the temp job office noticed as he looked at the paper Meg had ibingiay him. She had written it this morning. “You’ve worked as a nurse in a mental clinic for some weeks. Do you have a degree as a nurse?”
“Yeah” Meg nodded. “I should’ve brought it with me”
“Why don’t you go tahanan and come back with your degree. Then, maybe, I can do something for you” the man said.
“All right” Meg answered and she got up. She turned around and left the office. She leaned against the pader and took a deep breath. She didn’t have a degree.
“Hey” a female voice sinabi soft and smoke swirled before Meg’s face. Meg looked up and saw a young woman standing in front of her. She was offering her a cigarette. Meg accepted it and took a haul.
“Let me guess. You don’t have the right references, only the sucky jobs are open and they’ll call you when they find something that fits you” the woman summed up.
“Speaking out of experience?” Meg asked as she took another haul. She took the cigarette out of her mouth and examined it. “What is this?”
“You like it?” the woman smirked. Then she became serious. “I think I can help you out. My husband and I own a company and we’re looking for some new personnel”
“What kind of company?” Meg asked uninterested, the joint pinched between her lips. The woman searched in her pockets and conjured a small card.
“Here’s my number and the address of our company. Give me a call or come over whenever you want to” the woman said.
“And you really think this is something for me?” Meg asked examining the card.
“You’re a pretty girl” the woman said. “We could use someone like you”

“What do you mean, she’s gone?”
Cas and Zoey had been told that Daphne was gone.
“She’s not in her room. But we’re searching the entire building and the neighborhood. She can’t get far” the head doctor said.
“How could this happen?” Zoey asked mad. “Don’t you have some kind of security system here?”
“She estola a badge. She didn’t have to break into the system. She could just open the door” the doctor explained.
“And who’s the idiot who let her steal his badge?” Zoey asked demeaning.
“He’s waiting in my office” the doctor answered. “He already told me what happened. Listen, Mrs. Moore, Daphne can’t get far. We’ll find her sa pamamagitan ng the end of the night”
He walked away from them; he had to go apoy the nurse.
Zoey looked at Cas. “We need to find her” she said, slightly panicking.
